"You sure? honey" her mother said with concern

Helen muted

" We can go back home if you want" her mother added

The offer was tempting to Helen, but she figured if she goes home she will be doing nothing, only thinking about the incident. It's better she finds something else to gets her mind off it, and that's working.

"Nah, am good." Helen said giving her mother a smile.

Helen was dropped off at the mall, immediately after entering the building, she met the owner, who told her specifically what to do in her job. How she is to work in the sport wear section.

She met the other employees, they were all females. They all looked at her in mystery. With the way Helen looked, the dressing.

Helen is a very beautiful nineteen year old girl, having black raven hair, black and thick eyelashes, pink lips and a very fair and flawless skin. She was uninterested in the employees, they all looked like people trying to make a living, people struggling. Way below her class. For a second she still can't believe she is starting a job with this kind of people. Getting mistaken as one of them, getting tips.

Half way through the day, it was time for Helen to take her lunch. Not like she did anything much, only that people were attracted by her beauty and check out her section more.

Just as she was about heading upstairs to have her lunch, her eyes met a pair of dark brown eyes. It was a man, a well shaped man, with a manly, yet handsome face. Helen had never met a man as handsome as he is. Everything in the mall stopped because of him. No more talking or working all eyes where on him.

He was coming towards her from the entrance of the mall, staring at her and just as he passed her to go upstairs he smiled or maybe it was a smirk, he had seen her wide open mouth, he had seen her admiring him.

Helen was still in trance can a man be this handsome?

Ignoring her strange feelings, she headed upstairs, the third floor. Her mother had booked a place for her where she is to have lunch.

She sat in the balcony of the room on a soft couch, with her legs crossed. She was peacefully having her lunch untill someone interrupted her.

" Hello" Harvey said looking at Helen, then their eyes met, she was surprised to see him, a surprise she quickly hid and looked away.

"What are you doing here? this place isn't for employees or customers." He said in a surprised tone, waiting for a response. He didn't get any, so he sat on the same couch, but at the far end of it and he brought out his phone.

Helen saw him sat down with the corners of her eyes. His beauty outstanding. She too was wondering what he was doing here, this is her room. She also wanted to know him, who he was and his connections to this place.
She didn't answer him earlier to discourage conversation between them.

" My mother rent this room for me to have my lunch quietly here." Helen said looking at the view, she didn't want to look at him so she won't be distracted by his beauty and probably stutter when speaking.

" Really? But this is my spot, I don't believe my mom will rent it out to anyone" He asked, staring at her.

Helen, with surprised looks asked "Mrs Lu'ian (the owner of the Mall's name) is your mother?
" Yeah, well not biological." He said simply.

" Oh, well my family is rich, so it's not a big deal to rent the place. But we can both share it. I only stay here for like what? Thirty minutes." She said, looking at him, admiring his looks. This time she was distracted. Then her eyes fell to his lips, his lips then moved 'gosh, how can someone be this handsome'. Helen thought.

" Am Harvey, by the way." He said.

"Helen" she replied

They spent time talking, describing themselves. Both feeling the need to know the other person.
There were frequent chuckles, eye contacts, until it was time for Helen to go back to work. Feeling hesitant to leave, she walked slowly to the door. She suddenly asked for his number, the thought came to her on seeing him on his phone. It was only strange to her in retrospect  but at that moment, she longed for him, who wouldn't.

And when he quickly gave her his number asking for hers in return, she knew the feeling was mutual.

Helen crashed into her bed, she just finished dinner. One of her maid, Diana was busy arranging her room

" Daina! Round up that stuff and get outta here. I don't know why you didn't take care of this since" Helen said, bringing out her phone, wanting to call Harvey, instead she messaged him. Within minutes he replied. And then there conversation continued.

Smiling foolish at Harvy's text. She found him funny and interesting, he was the kind of guy you never get bored with. Then totally absorbed by the chat, she heard a sound beside her all of the sudden.

Helen yelled in fear. On turning around she found the whole room was dark except the light illuminating from her phone.
