Vance wakes up in his bed the next morning. He barely gets enough sleep since his  father started coming home drunk at night. He gets up and goes to the bathroom. He takes a long shower and changes into some new clothes.

"I hate this shitty morning. I miss bruce saying good morning to me every morning when i wake up. Im not leaving the house today. Im staying home." Vance says as he sits back on his bed. He turns on his TV and is about to watch the new scream movie until he gets a text from someone.

Hey uhh this might be weird for you to get a message from me after what happened between us but would you want to go to my game at 6pm? You don't have to.

Vance turned his phone off and went downstairs. He saw his dad on the couch with a beer in his hands. Vance didn't bother taking it out of his fathers hands. Vance got a pack of cigarettes from the drawer and went back upstairs.

"Ughh i have nothing to do today! I'm going to die out of boredom." Vance groans as he sits back on his bed to actually watch the new scream movie.

TIME SKIP TO AFTER THE MOVIE😩😩😩

Vance turns his tv off as the movie was already done. He goes on his phone to post something on his instagram. He picks a photo of himself, captions it and then posts it.

Bruce pov

I was looking at vance's posts but then I saw he posted a new photo. I looked at it and saw the most beautiful picture I have seen of him. Mabye at my game he will apologize. I hope he does. I will also apologize for what i said about him yesterday.

I scroll through tik tok until i see a tik tok of every initials soul mate. I look down and see two specific initials together.

Why would this video pop up in this situation? If it came up like a week ago i would've been kicking my feet and blushing. Now it just mskes me sad.

I scroll to the next video but its an eggdog video.



"BRO AGAIN? THIS IS AN ADDICTION NOW!" (based on true events. Im addicted to eggdog HELP) i like the video and scroll onto the next video. For the next few hours i just watch more eggdog videos.

5:30pm

I check the time and see I have 30 minutes until my game starts. I run to my closet and get my baseball uniform on. I get my normal bat and run out the door. I get to the field and see my team is practicing. I run over to them to practice with them. "Hey guys sorry im a little late. I was watching ti-" I say but get rudely interrupted by my teammate tony. "Watching more tik toks? Its fine bruce there is no problem that your are like 2 minutes late." Tony says. I wasn't 2 minutes late. I was 20 minutes late.
