The sun was just starting to set in the sky, a golden, red disk in the sky, making way for the stars to begin slowly popping up in the darkening sky. Takeomi still sat in his seat, watching the scene in silence. 

Taking a sip of his wine every few minutes before leaning back and looking up at the sky above him, his eyes almost as dull and lifeless as the stars. This floor in the building, was on the top, the balcony area where he could clearly see the sun set. 

"Crikey! I never thought I'd see you again!" you cheered side hugging Takeomi who patted your head. "Why are you here kid? It's late night." Takeomi asked. You grumbled walking into the room. "Ran keeps nagging me to not talk to you!" you complain to Takeomi. 

"It's just that you are a young adult woman and that man is a old person who existed with the dinosaurs." Ran voice roared as he saw down. Takeomi rolled his eyes pretty used to this insults. Rindo entered the room too as he rolled his eyes seeing you. 

You gave Rindo a nasty stare and sat on a love chair. "I was wondering...." you said to Takeomi eyeing his wine. "Do you have a wife and a kid?" you bluntly asked. "Did you just ask me that?!" he was surprised by your sudden question making him choke on his spit. 

Ran started laughing knowing damn well this man was single and got no bitches. "I have no wife or kids." Takeomi cleared his throat. "Not a relationship guy..." he added making Rindo sigh turning away. 

You grabbed his hand and smiled at him. Takeomi was startled as his hands started to sweat. You were so close! Why are you always messing with him?! he thought. "What are you doing..?" he asked. 

You took your hand back immediately and looked at him, a big smile on your face. "Just wanted to see your reaction." you replied with a teasing grin. You felt a sound of something breaking as you saw Rindo, with a broken wine glass. 

"It slipped, my bad." he mumbled. You could see the vein in the middle of his forehead pulsating, as if he was about to have an aneurysm. You looked back to Takeomi and started conversation with him adding your famous dad jokes. 

"What does the receptionist at a sperm bank say as clients leave?" you asked, "Thanks come again?" he bursted out laughing at your constant bad jokes. Rindo felt veins popping in his forehead, as he wanted only you making deez nut jokes with him.

"Stop," he repeated, glaring at you. You could see him shaking, the veins in his arms twitching. The shaking in his body was becoming more and more noticeable. His lips curled into a snarl. Typical grumpy Rindo. insert eyeroll. 

"What did the penis say to the condom?" you asked laughing. "Cover me, I'm going in" you giggled making Ran huff out a small laugh as Takeomi chuckled too. 

"Just stop, it's not even funny" Rindo growled once again, staring at you. His face was stern, expressionless. You had never seen him so mad. You were sure that he'd kill you if you spoke just one more word. "Kupal, let us have fun." you glared at him. 

Rindo grumbled in frustration at you, his body shaking and twitching as if he was resisting some deep urge to choke you. You continued to talk to Takeomi and you felt like you had lazer eyes on yourself. 

"Darling, your looks can kill." you side eyed Rindo who was glaring dagger into your head. He scoffed after what you pointed out and kicked a small chair. "I will throw you into a trash. Stop that tantrum." you rolled your eyes.

"Are you serious, shorty? You think you can take me on?" He asked, laughing once again. "I could bench-press you without a single sweat." You rolled your eyes at his cockiness. "Sure. We are almost same height, jokes at you." you shot back. 

Rindo rolled his eyes and got up and looked at his watch. Maybe he was done with the convo and decided to leave. He shot a glare at you and Takeomi before leaving without a good bye. Ran chuckled getting up. 

"Don't mind Rindo. You know him." Ran ruffled the evenness of you combed hair and left with Rindo was a small wave. "So... How's work." you asked to the elder man who was now alone with you. 

"A hellhole" He replied in the same monotonous voice "I'm so tired of those idiots and the constant work but someone has to do it. Not like they'll do it themselves. So it gets left to me... all the time." He sighed. 

After few minutes you saw him hesitating to say something. You looked at him face. "Spit it out, if looks like you are holding your diarrhea." you rolled your eyes. "...Hey y/n... Can I ask you something?" he pursed his lips making you nod. 

".....How exactly would you feel if..." His voice got more soft and awkward before continuing.  "You found out that you've been close with a criminal? I mean, there's a chance you could find out about this soon, but.... Do you think you would hate someone after finding out what they do behind closed doors?" he asked. 

"Meh. what question is that...?" you asked sticking your tongue out playfully, curious of his sudden question. "It's like you don't have any problems or worries in your life.." Takeomi said sighing and looking up at the sky. 

You hummed playing with a smooth small pebble in your hand that you picked up on the way. "Why do you have that rock.." he asked sipping his wine. "It's just a habit of mine... collecting smooth rocks" you said. 

"Do you know, male penguin instead of the usual engagement ring, the penguins give a smoothest pebble or polished rock to the female penguin to express is love." you smiled throwing the pebble up and catching it. 

"Someone told me that, and now I cant help but pick up these type of pebbles..." you added and threw the pebble at him which startled Takeomi but he soon caught it. "I had fun talking to you. Good night." you said stretching and walking out. 

Takeomi blinked looking down at the pebble. "Is this a engagement ring....?" he mumbled confused.
