"With a strong quirk like that you could easily become a hero, so why didn't you?"

The question was really simple, but unfortunately not for y/n.

How was she supposed to reply to a question she never wanted to answer.

Why, why didn't she become a hero?

How was she supposed to tell him that she wanted to, she desperately wanted to become hero, to save people but life had other plans for her.

Instead she became opposite of what the title "hero" stood for.

How was she supposed to tell him that her so called ,,strong quirk" wasn't even hers to begin with-

Her train of thoughts were interrupt by hawks who was waving his hand in front of her.

" You okay there? You kinda zoned out"

She quickly came to her senses, looking at his concerned face.

"Yeah I'm fine" she putted on best smile she could before answering his previous question.

"The reason I didn't become a hero
Was because it wasn't suited for me I guess"

C'mon think of something y/n

"I may have a strong quirk but I was never interested in becoming one, it's just danger following you all the time, knowing you're always the villian's target"

Lies.

Lies.

And more lies.

She mentally sighed, looking at hawk's expression.
He seemed to believe it at least.

There was a silence before, hawks offered her a genuine smile.

"Yeah, I get it"

Y/n nodded her head, not knowing what to response.

Deciding that, this akward silence was her cue to leave, she started heading towards the door.

But unfortunately for her hawks spoke again.

"By the way, there's a party hosting up at the end of this week"

Oh don't tell me

"And you're invited too"

Hawks was currently at the HPSC meeting, probably to talk about his given mission.

"Tell us everything you've learned about her"

And yes, he guessed it right.

"Before you bring it up, no I didn't get a name out of her" he remarked while attempting to maintain a professional composure. "Whatever her name is, and whoever she is, I'll figure it out, then I can move on to the next phase of this mission"

The next phase is killing her...

"It's imperative that you learn everything you can about this girl, got it?"

Hawks turned to adress the president of the hero commission directly, a profound seriousness overriding his features. "I understand, I'll gather what I need to" he declared with a formal bow.

"I have to attend a freaking party"

"Sucks for you i guess"

Y/n was rumbling to dabi about her current situation, while dabi was giving her stupid responses.

"And it's gonna be full of heroes" she groaned thinking about topic. "Can you imagine me sitting on a some stupid party, that's full of heroes?!"

"Nope"

To that answer y/n gave him a flat look. "Can you at least act like you care? I'm in a Crisis here"

"Well what do you want me to do? Rub your back tell you, that everything's going to be alright? Hell no, I'm not doing that"

" I hate you" she shot him a glare. Before storming out of his room.

"Love you too" He called out but she was already gone.
