𝓗𝓸𝓷𝓸𝓻 𝓘𝓷 𝓥𝓮𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮 (Hawks x Villain reader)

𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳 8

After storming out of Dabi's room she went to her room and tried to get some sleep.
Keyword: tried.

Just thinking about this whole fake identity, assistant, heroes, party...it all felt so odd.

Then there was hawks, The number 3 hero. She didn't really have any particular thoughts about him yet. He was tolerable at least, bit annoying with his curiousness if you'd ask her, but he had pretty good looks-not that she was going to admit it out loud-

What the fuck.

She mentally slapped herself for thinking that nonsense.

Getting out of the bed ( knowing she wouldn't be able to sleep) she made her way towards her closet, quickly changing out of pajamas. Debating where she should go, she made the choice to her favorite shop as usual.

Might as well buy a hair dye

The black hair dyes she was using only lasted for a week. She dyed her hair 5 days ago and some strings have already turned to It's natural color.

Without giving it a second thought she headed to her planned destination.

Izuku Midoriya was just leaving his house to buy some groceries his mom forgot to buy earlier, it was around 12 a.m. but in hope of finding a store that worked 24 hours he went anyway.

He wasn't going far from home anyway and I mean it's not like villian was going to attack a kid in the middle of the night, right?

No, not exactly but he was going to meet one without him knowing..

Y/n was standing in front of various hair dyes, her eyes searching for that particular one, which lasted for only a week.

Where was it?

Her eyes scanned the aisle for a few more minutes before landing on the one she was looking for.

Aha! Found you.

She grabbed it and then went towards another aisle. Snack aisle. But before she had the chance to get there, someone bumped into her. She was about to say something along the lines of "watch where you're going fucking idiot" before she noticed it was a kid. A green haired boy (which reminded her of broccoli) with freckles who's whole face was red with embarrassment.

"I-I'm reall-y sorry for bumping into you m-ma'am" he started throwing apologies towards y/n who only found amusing how many times he said sorry.

That was before he started muttering to himself.

"Hey kid, would you stop that annoying muttering"

And there he goes apologizing again.

"S-sorry" a bright shade of pink dusted his cheeks, being caught muttering again.

Y/n sighed already being fed up with this weird encounter.
"It's fine" she heartlessly said before adding.

"Isn't it a bit late for a kid to be out this late?"

"O-oh uhm my mom forgot to buy some things erlier s-so.."

She nodded and was about leave when he said.

"I-I'm izuku Midoriya b-by the way"

This kid is weird.

She thought before introducing herself, well not quite herself but at least it's something.

"Ayame" with that she took a turn to her favorite snack aisle, not waiting for his reply. Grabbing a few things she went to the cashier and guess what that kid was still there, Waiting in a line behind a few people with  groceries in his hands.

She went to stand behind him, waiting for people in line to move so that she could leave this store already, but unfortunately fate had other plans for her, because when Midoriya's turn came his eyes widened. He forgot his wallet.

Y/n noticed his panicked face and quickly realized what was going on.

I hate my life.

She moved in front of him handing cashier hand full of cash.

"Here, I'll pay for him"

" Y-you didn't have t-to"

Midoriya tried to refuse her help, feeling embarrassed. First for bumping into her and then this. Today wasn't the luckiest day for him.

After paying for her snacks and hair dye and also his things, they stepped out of the shop, y/n gave him whatever he bought and was about to go to their separate ways until he called out.

"Ayame-san thank you so much for paying for my groceries!" He said it with such bright smile it almost blinded her.

"Yeah, yeah no problem kid" and with that he they went their separate ways.

Something was really familiar with this kid...
Probably because it reminded her of certain someone..

Call it a gut feeling but something was telling her that this wasn't going to be their last meeting.

And her gut feeling was never wrong.

Izuku Midoriya was never one to judge someone he just met, no, that boy is stubbornly optimistic and kind person, but that was until he met that woman at that store. Yeah she was very nice looking and also kind enough for helping him out like that, he was grateful for it of course but something about her left unsettling felling with him.

When he accidentally bumped into her, his instincts screamed danger, he sensed it, something strong, he didn't know what it was, probably her quirk..?

But whatever it was, it's a mystery.

He has been in that store few times but it's the first time he saw her.

She is a mystery.

And that left very unsettling feeling with him.

Y/n didn't really wanted to get back to her so called home. So she decided it would be best to stay out for a bit. But where to go? Just wandering through the streets got bit of boring.

Then an idea hit her.

She decided to visit a graveyard. As much as creepy it sounds, y/n discovered some comfort in that place.

Who's grave you might ask, she had no parents, no siblings, no close friends.. even in death no one was waiting for her at that garveyard.

She still had some people, that are still alive from her past she wanted to send there forever but that's not the point.

She wasn't visiting their graves yet.

No, she was visiting her own grave.

Arriving there and stepping further into the yard that was full of the deceased, she made her way towards one specific grave. Her own.

Kneeling in front of it, her fingers touched the cold letters that were imprinted on the stone.

"Y/n l/n"

She chuckled, that name almost felt forbidden to her, because the girl that name belonged to is long gone, dead.

That girl died that night.

The night the most important people to her betrayed her.

And for killing that girl she would get her sweet revenge.

A tear fell down her cheek, but it wasn't caused by sadness and sorrow, no it was caused by this burning rage and fury that has built itself inside of her for all these years.

"I swear y/n, l/n I will get our honor in vengeance."
