After staring at herself in the mirror for a few minutes she splashed some cold water on her face and tried to control her breath.

Exiting the bathroom with shaky hands, y/n was about to get back to her assigned table but the sound of talking caught her curiosity, and she couldn't help but eavesdrop.

"So what's this whole top secret mission about?"

One of the heroes who y/n couldn't recognize asked almost in a mocking way.

The other one let out an airy laugh.

"Like hell I know"

"Dude, aren't you like a higher rank than me? You should know all about it"

The male clicked his tongue and quickly explained.

"Man, they don't tell me shit. The hpsc is either gatekeeping everything or the only person they're talking about it is that damn bird"

So hawks knows everything huh? Now I get why shigaraki wanted me to work with him.

She was about to leave before male spoke again.

"And I think he keeps all of that information in his files, so unless you can break into his office, there's no chance we're finding out shit."

The other one sighed.

"Aw Damn it"

Well things are going quite smoothly for y/n.

"You okay?" Hawks asked worriedly when she got back at her table.

She nodded and hawks took it as a sign not to question her further.

A few minutes of awkward silence, was broken by hawk's excited noise.

"Ah Food! The best part!"

Y/n couldn't help but chuckle at his childish grin. Before digging into the food as well.

And well..it tasted like heaven. I mean what else did she expect? These bastards are making tons of money and eat like royals every day, not caring about anything other than their stomachs, no wonder they could afford all of this delicious food.

She rolled her eyes just thinking about it, while hawks was having the time of his life, happily eating his chicken.

"Isn't that like cannibalism..?"

Her thoughts were interrupted by someone speaking in the microphone.

"Oh here we go" hawks rolled his eyes.

"What do you mean?" Y/n asked in confusion.

"See that old geezer? He's about to give a speech about how he's proud of us and what a true hero is like"

She looked at the direction he was pointing and saw an old man standing on stage and giving a speech (well not really that old, somewhat in his late 50s)

She hummed at hawks words and listened to what the old guy had to say, not that she really cared.

"-and I would like to say that I'm standing proud here because japan has these many fine, hardworking heroes protecting people, and most of all I would like to thanke our number one hero, All might!"

Y/n raised her head up when she heard the familiar name being called out to the stage.

And there he was standing proud and confident, all might.

What a good day. First him and now all might.

She sighed and grabbed a wine bottle that was placed in front of her, practically calling her name.

She poured the liquid in her cup and started to drink it, not even bothering to listen to all might's blabbering.

All while hawks watched her clearly amused.

"Soo what do you think?" Hawks asked the second they stepped out of the place.

"It was..fine" y/n said, trying not to be rude. To be honest she wouldn't believe her words either.

Hawks stopped and looked at her "you're not very good at lying are you?" He almost let out a laugh when he caught her lying.

Y/n wanted to burst out laughing when he said that.

Yeah hawks I'm totally not lying about my identity and quirk, all because I'm actually a vengeful bitch and my boss wanted to gather some information, which I forgot to mention is Japan's number one criminal organisation's leader.

Is what she wanted to say but she chose to spare him the details.

"Okay I'm not, It was terrible." she finished with a sigh before adding "but you were right food was the best part"

He snickered at her words, knowing he didn't like it any better.

"Ready to go?" He asked casually while spreading his wings like he wasn't planning on flying with her in his arms.

"Yeah- HELL NO! I'm not doing that again!" She protested when she realized his real motives and put a distance between them.

"Aw c'mon, you liked it the last time"

She shot him a glare at his response and said

"I don't remember anything like that"

He chuckled at her reaction finding it entertaining. "Has anyone told you that you look cute when you're mad?" Hawks hasn't even realized what he said before adding. "Okay fine, I guess we just have to walk" he pouted trying to get her to agree somehow.

He may not have realized what he said but y/n sure did. Heat raised to her cheecks for a few seconds before she scoffed quietly.

Yeah they didn't have a chance to tell me that when I cut their throats open.

"Ya coming or have you changed your mind? Hawks smirked standing a few steps ahead of her.

Once again he received a glare. "I'm Coming and Wipe that smirk off your face" she said clearly annoyed.

And he burst out of laughter, only making her more red in the face from how angry she was getting from his teasing.

"Man it's really amusing to make you mad"

"Shut up and just walk!"
