It has been 49 years since Team Galactic harnessed the power of the lords of time and space, Palkia and Dialga.

Third Person's POV
Jayden walked towards the forest as usual but there is a well known event called the Choosing as it is known in his village, today marks the 49th annual Spatium games, today is where Team Galactic took over and the Pokemon League was disbanded.
To stop any rebellion they created fear by making two Pokemon trainers from all the 10 district, 14 to 26, fight with other trainers and their Pokemon. Jayden is 19 which means he has a high chance to be chosen as a tribute, he quickly put them out of his mind as he neared a remote outpost within the lush forest, the side of the outpost was print with the emblem of a Team Galactic.

Jayden's POV
I quickly hid in the nearby bushes and watched as the guards unloaded barrels of gasoline and oil. 'Perfect! This is too easy,' I thought to myself, suddenly I feel someone slide behind me, quickly I turned around to face a young girl about the same age as me with blond hair that end in a slight curl, a slight found itself to my face.
"Didn't your mother tell you it is bad to stalk people, Alisa?" I asked with a lopsided grin
"Didn't your mother tell you it is bad to steal, Jayden?" She deadpanned
I replied "You know everyone in our district needs gas right? Our generous host, Team Galactic didn't give us enough." She gave me quick grin and said "That's why I'm helping you."
I gave her a quick nod and made our way slowly but stealthily, as we were walking I thought about our district, District 10, we were only allowed to use Dark, Psychic and Ghost type Pokemon because the harsh laws made by Team Galactic but all districts were allowed to use Normal type Pokemon.
I let out my Haunter and Alisa let out her Kecleon, we both said unison "Let make chaos." Both our Pokemon turn invisible as they ran towards the guards. 1......2........3!
We watched in pleasure as the area in front of us exploded into absolute chaos, guards fell to the ground, pokèballs along with their Pokemon gone missing and barrels of oil and gas went flying"Now!" I whispered to Alisa and we ran towards the barrels I used a trick that I learnt a year ago.
++Flashback++
I am currently track Kadabra but as I threw my Pokèball it used its psychic power to throw a boulder towards my Pokèball but instead of shattering, the boulder was sucked inside the Pokèball like a Pokemon! I kept the Pokèball with my thinking of everything I could do with my new discovery.
++Flashback end++
Both of us threw our Pokèball and immediately a bright red light surrounded the barrels and absorbed and barrels then the lid of Pokèball closed with a slight click marking our success.
It was just in time as guards collected their Pokemon and started to search for the cause of the disturbance. "Time to go!" I told Alisa and we ran back into the dark forest to deliver our precious cargo and towards a future that neither of us ever dreamt about.
