What's taking him so long? the demon thought. Aziraphale had been gone for quite a while and Crowley was getting worried. I mean, how long does it take to fetch a bottle of wine. It can't take that long to pick what you want.

Clumsily, he got up and headed for the wine cellar. He only had to make it to the beginning of the hallway to figure out what had happened. Ah, well that explains it. Oh G... Someone. This is going to be sooo awkward.

The angel was gaping at a rather lewd looking statue. The artist had wanted it to look like evil conquering good but... well... let's just say it hadn't quite turned out the way he'd wanted it to. The stone angel and demon were stark naked, their bodies flushed together. Their grimacing faces and the faint glimmer of pleasure in their eyes suggested something else entirely. It certainly didn't look like they were fighting each other at least not to Aziraphale, who was quite shocked by this statue. He hadn't expected to find such a thing in Crowley's minimalistic flat. He was quickly snapped away from his thoughts by familiar footsteps and a voice. A voice asking him a question. One he hadn't heard. Oh fuck. This is going to be dreadfully awkward.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" he asked, shaking his head to clear his mind and turning to face the demon.

"I said, what do you think of it?" Crowley smirked.

"Uhm...I'm not entirely sure wh-what I'm looking at to be honest." the angel stumbled, blushing furiously. The alcohol he had consumed, making itself known again.

"Isn't it obvious? You know, 'ts evil triumphing over good." Crowley said, trying to fight the smirk twitching at his lips.

"Oh... Right! Of course it is." Aziraphale was somehow impossibly redder than before. "I see it now, yes...yes...".

"What did you think it was" the demon asked devilishly, finally letting the mischievous smirk split his face in two. He couldn't help but tease the soft, crimson angel in front of him. He's just too cute when he's flustered.

"Nothing, I mean I-I don't know...just...uhm..." His mind went blank, any plausible explanation went flying out the window, as the demon took a careful step towards him. All he could do was wring his hands in agitation.

"Tell me." Crowley hummed with all the flirt he could muster. He could see Aziraphale visibly gulp as he stepped even closer. He was sure that the whites of his uncovered eyes were now completely taken over by the amber colour of his iris. Oh bugger! Where'd I put my bloody glasses! I feel too vulnerable right now.

Thanks to the short moment of doubt, Aziraphale managed to duck away, and headed for the wine cellar. He tried desperately to calm his beating heart but no number of deep breaths would steady it. "You traitorous organ, I should have gotten rid of you a long time ago" he grumbled quietly. After all, he didn't really need his heart, he could live without it.
