Episode 4: Truth Or Dare

Lan Wangji was making his way to his brothers room when an annoying voice spoke up "Hey Lan-Er-Gongzi!"

Lan Wangji looked in the direction of the voice to spot the Jin clans signature robes, the character wearing the robes was a brash, impolite and spoiled young man named Wen Chao, Lan Wangji had come to severely dislike this man, he had always treated his Wei Ying to be lesser for being the son of a servant, even going as far as ordering him around like his own personal waiter, too bad for him Wei Ying would have none of it, and often attacked him with words, he eventually stopped, seeing as he never won the arguments and often embarrassed himself infront of Luo Qingyang a girl he wanted to impress

Lan Wangji made an acknowledging bow and walked a little faster before his way was blocked by Wen Chao "Ah Lan-Er-Gongzi, why do you always ignore me? tsk you've been spending to much time with that Wei Wuxian"

"Wei-Gongzi" he corrected with a unnoticeable glare

"Hm?"

"He never gave you permission to call him that, Its against the rules to not show proper respect" Lan Wangji stated voice colder than normal

"I'm showing more than enough respect towards that servant! He called you by your birth name on the first day, I doubt you gave him permission for that" Wen Chao raised an eyebrow

"I gave Wei Ying permission." Lan Wangji lied, he internally repeated the clan rules 10 times, and promised he'd reflect on his actions once he reached his room

"W-What?" Wen Chao's eyes widened

"If you have no further things to say, I shall take my leave" Lan Wangji stated as he started his walk once more, leaving a dumbfounded Wen Chao in his trail

Two gentle knocks were heard on the door, with a soft "Brother"

"Come in" a gentle voice spoke from within

Lan Wangji walked in to find his brother sitting at the table with some papers sprawled on it

"Brother, what's all this?" Lan Wangji questioned

"Oh don't mind all this, its just some research" Lan Xichen said, He gathered all the papers and put them neatly into two piles on the side of the table

Lan Wangji took a glance at the top paper in one of the piles, it was titled 'what damage absent fathers cause', his curiosity piqued he looked at the other pile, it's top paper was titled 'how bullying effects the mind'

"...Brother are you being bullied?" Lan Wangji asked concerned

"Hm?" he followed his brothers gaze to the paper."Oh that, Its not for me" he said with a pained smile

"Brother are you... ok?"

"Yes! Yes! Now, why did you come here? oh could it be related to Wei-Gongzi?" He watched amused as his brothers ears turned slightly pink."Oh? What happened~" he asked with a small grin

"...I kissed Wei Ying..." Lan Wangji looked down afraid to make eye contact

"Oh! ...Did you both like it?" Lan Xichen inquired

"Mn..." Lan Wangji nodded

"Then.... what's the problem ?"

"That I liked it..." Lan Wangji's face darkened

"Why is that a problem? I think its amazing!"

"Why...?" Lan Wangji gripped the table. There was silence for a bit

Lan Xichen got up and sat directly next to his brother, And placed a hand on his back "Brother I want you to listen to what I say carefully."

Lan Wangji nodded
