"Ah its right up ahead!!" he said tugging on Lan Zhan's sleeve
"Mn" Lan Zhan followed the young cultivator to a small jewellery shop, it had a vast array of different necklaces, bracelets, rings, and more. Some made of cloth some of gold and some of silver, they were all definitely good quality nonetheless.
"Excuse me sir! May I buy this one?" Wei Ying asked the shop owner, he was pointing at a white bracelet with a gem attached to it, the gem was the same colour as Lan Zhan's eyes, Golden yellow.
"That'll be 10 silver young sir" The shop owner said with a smile, his eyes then landed on the white clad boy next to him "Oh Lan-Er-Gongzi! Its weird to see you in town, is this one your friend?"
Lan Zhan looked at the shopkeeper for a second then at Wei Ying, he grabbed Wei Ying's hand and pulled him closer, he declared "Mine."
"Oh um well for a f-friend of Lan-Er-Gongzi it is 5 silver!" he stuttered at 'friend' for some reason
"Woahh Lan Zhan is so well respected here! Thank you sir!!" Wei Ying placed 10 silver on the table "But I want to pay full price for this one" he smiled warmly
The two walked away with their hands interlocked.
The shop keeper sighed and smiled 'Ah young love.. good for them'
"Lan Zhan" Wei Ying grinned
"Mn?"
Wei Ying held his hand and led him into a discreet alleyway, he brought his hand up to his face and placed a gentle kiss on it, Lan Zhan's ears turned slightly pink. He took out the white bracelet he had bought earlier and tied it around Lan Zhan's wrist, and then held his hand tightly "Its a gift for you!! If you ever feel lost or lonely just look at it and remember that I love you!"
Lan Zhan stared at the bracelet on his wrist, it perfectly matched him, Wei Ying had definitely put alot of thought into it.
Without warning Lan Zhan wrapped his arms around the shorter, who seemed surprised
"Thank you."
"Hehehe you're welcome!" Wei Ying hugged back

."Okokok Jiang Cheng you are cool, You got this. just figure out what to say." Jiang Cheng spoke to himself, his waist length deep purple hair was currently down, it was easier to think like this.
he was sat at the only table in the room, blank papers neatly arranged in a small stack beside him, "Okayy I'll make it perfect, not too long not too short, and also not too casual not to formal, okok I got this!!" he gave himself a pep talk.
he began meticulously crafting a perfect confession, his small stack of papers slowly got even smaller, he was efficient with the use of paper space so he had half the stack remaining by the time he was done. he started working on it since Breakfast, he had no idea how much time had gone by, he got up to open the curtains to check, when he heard two gentle knocks "Jiang Cheng?"
Jiang Cheng's eyes lit up and he hid his papers before opening the the door "Nie Huangfu" he said softly
"its past dinner time, why did you not show up at lunch either?" Nie Huangfu walked inside the room, trying his best to not to stare at Jiang Cheng's open hair.
"Dinner time? it's been that long? ah no wonder I'm hungry"
"Were you working on something? How long have you been working?" Nie Huangfu asked concerned
"Its fine I'm used to working long hours." Jiang Cheng replied
"Its not healthy to do anything for too long, should I sneak out food for you while you rest?" Nie Huangfu suggested
