Chapter 7: When They See Her Get Hurt

Hirata's POV
"I have a question for you guys," I asked class 1A in my peer tutor period.

"What is it?" Izuku asked.

"My coach wants an audience for us to rehearse in front of. He wants us to get used to performing while we're rehearsing because we're supposed to be performing the moment we get to the competition site. Some people still don't understand that so he wants an audience for us to get used to it," I explained.

"Oooh I'll go," Mina said.

"I want to go too!" Ochaco said excitedly.

"Yeah why not," Katsuki said.

"Maiko, do you have gum?" Kaminari asked me because I was chewing some already.

"Yeah," I said reaching down to get a piece for him. "Can you catch?" I asked looking at him.

"Sure," he said.

I threw it to him and it hit him in the face.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry!" I said starting to laugh.

The rest of the class started laughing too.

"It's fine," he said laughing too.

"Can I have one please," Mina asked and I gave her one too.

"I want one too," Sero said.

"Oh my god," I said getting a little annoyed.

"Everyone and their mother is asking for one now," Miss Midnight said laughing.

"Can I get one?" Hagakure asked and I gave her one too.

"I seriously just bought this the other day and it's already almost empty," I said a little annoyed.

I was listening to music and I don't know why I was so happy today. I was just vibing to my music in my ears and moving my head to the beat. Then I choked on my saliva for a second and started coughing.

"Are you okay?" Miss Midnight asked with a slight smirk.

I just nodded as I continued coughing. Then I stopped and started laughing again. Then I was fine for a minute. I blew a bubble gum bubble and inhaled the air again so it would pop on my face. I almost choked on it and coughed again. Everyone looked at me and I just started giggling. I blew another one and when it popped it made me flinch and I don't know why. I just started giggling again and a few other people did.

"Oh my god babe what's with you today?" Katsuki asked and I started laughing.

"I don't know, I'm just really giggly," I said with a huge smile and tucking some hair behind my ear.

Then the bell rang and we all walked out of the classroom.

I walked to sit with my friends and I was just talking with them. Then when the bell rang I got up and stepped on the seat of the table for a second. As I was laughing at the playful argument Kirishima and Katsuki were having I tried to step forward. I don't know what happen but I ended up falling forward. I grabbed onto Katsuki and screamed in fear for a second. They both looked at me surprised while I started laughing.

"Are you okay?" Katsuki asked confused.

"Yeah," I said still laughing.

"Are you sure?" Kirishima asked confused as well.

"Yeah, I just tripped," I said trying to calm down from laughing.
