CHAPTER 13

CHAPTER 13: " RAT "

Crumbled Stair, Sand, and fallen parts, Oscar's Room looks Dead, Rotten and it looks like the place was filled with sand.  "Hello?" Mariana whispered as she walks in, covered in the sand she started climbing up the crumbled Stairs.

"Urggghhhh, this-- stairs-- are too many"

She grunted while climbing the Tower.
The Stairs are so tall, you can hardly see the top. It looks endless, this was probably to help concentrate Oscar while looking into his visions.

A few hours later Mariana reached the very top of the stairs. " finally... At last!!  Vision here I come--- woah!!!" Marianna stopped as she discovered that the bridge to the other side is broken.

"urghhhh, why can't I just save the miracle with a touch of a button!!! Can't I take the easy way!!!??" Mariana Shouted in Rage.

Suddenly a bunch of rocks fell, and Mariana took cover under a large rock.  After a while, the rambling stopped revealing a vine out of nowhere. " Well, that just lead to an unexpected turn of events I guess. "

Mariana use all her might and swung across to the other side, Mariana rushed inside to see the dusty room.
Dust everywhere, sand everywhere.

" where is that vision??" Mariana looked everywhere but she doesn't even know what to look for.  Suddenly she picks up this green emerald glass, there's something that was engraved.

Mariana gazed upon the emerald and looked amazed "So Shiny and Pretty, this would be a great present for Mom." She then put them in her bag but as she does so, she found more of them, and more and more keep on coming. Suddenly she realized something.

This wasn't just an ordinary stone, it was a puzzle!
She tried to put the puzzles together when suddenly a Rat came and took one of the pieces!

" Hey!! Get back here!!" that was the biggest piece of them all so she has to get them at all cause!

The Rat tried to climb up but Mariana grabbed it by the tail, "Eww!! " She then accidentally let go and the Rat dropped the piece. But it fell into this hole. " Oh, Crap! "
She tried to reach in but she couldn't.

Tired and Depressed she sat on the corner thinking of what to do next. " I guess, my journey ends here, so much for saving the miracle."

"Roar!!!"

"wait a minute..." " Was that a roar of an animal"

Mariana suddenly remembered that Antonio's room is next door. The vine from earlier must have come from his room too. She hurriedly ran outside of Oscar's room and saw a slide.

"Well, I guess my Tio can have fun." she used the slide to get down from all those staircases.

Mariana Rushed out of her Tio Oscar's room when she suddenly bumped into someone.

" Hey, Mariana be less of a cluts will ya!"

It was Carlos her cousin.
" Sorry, but I'm in a hurry!" She runs while removing some Sand from her hair."

Carlos sighed and brushed both his hands and feet from Sand.
