I limped back up the hill, pulling leaves out of my hair as I went. I walked around the corpses, the forest looked like a battlefield. Blood was splattered everywhere. I gathered my weapons and my gear, I made sure that the only evidence of me being there was the dead corpses. After my pack was packed I decided to climb a tree to get an better view. I picked a sturdy oak tree with low branches and a towering height. I grabbed the first branch and began climbing. I reached the top panting, my stitches and newly formed cuts stung, my back was caked with mud and sweat. I looked around trying to figure out where I should go to next. There's a town to the north that would be in my favor to head to. I start climbing down the tree, when I hit the ground I gather myself and start heading north.
