He remembered how much she loves the water. He then decided to invite her to the restaurant near the beach.
"You came."
"You know, once you break up, you're not supposed to call your ex unless you're extremely drunk," she told him, a smirk forming on her face. "You look pretty sober to me."
"Were you busy today?"
"Eh," she shrugged. "Just did some retail therapy. By the way, do you still prefer forest green over hunter green?"
"Nice. I see you retained your sense of humor."
"You said it was attractive."
"It still is," he paused. "Happy birthday, babe."
