"Just shut up Andrew nobody wants to hear you run your mouth about stupid shit." Kimberly yells at her brother, throwing another shoe at him.

"That was my shoe," I say nudging her with my elbow.

"Sorry," she says roughly.

"Should I just leave," I ask standing up. She grabs my arm and pulls me back down on the couch.

"You don't have to leave. You are the guest and he is just an asshole who needs to learn to treat girls better." Kimberly says glaring at her brother, "Lets go to my room."

I stand up and follow her to her bedroom, taking a seat on the bed. She slams her door before walking over to the bed and plopping down. She leans over and cranks up her music before leaning back against her pillows and letting out a huge sigh.

"I'm sorry," I say laying across the foot of the bed.

"Don't worry about it." she says shrugging her shoulders.

"So are your parents coming home today?" I ask.

"No they are probably still at the cabin getting drunk," she says rolling her eyes.

"Oh....is it just me or do they do that a lot?"

"Yeah, and I always get stuck here with Drew." she says with a huff.

"Well do you think that your parents would let you come stay the night with me tonight?"

"Probably not," she says fiddling with something in her hands.

I nod my head and let the subject go. We sit there for a while listening to Green Day when her brother barges into the room throwing water all over us.

"OH my god Drew! Why did you do that?!" Kimberly yells at him. "You got water all over my radio!. If it's water damaged you are going to buy me a new one!" she says jumping up and unplugging it. He laughs and walks out of the room leaving us to deal with the water covered radio. "Stupid ass!"
