Aaron and Jake were passing notes in class. Jake wrote,
"Wanna get ice cream after school today?" Folded it up, and passed it to Aaron in the seat next to him. The note was intercepted by the teacher's hand.
"What's this? Passing notes in class, are we Jake?" He looked at the floor and his face went red, hoping to god that she wouldn't make him read it in front of the class.
"If it's so urgent that you can't tell Aaron after class, why don't you read it at the front of the room." Jake stood up and took the walk of shame. He cleared his throat and looked at nothing but the piece of paper.
"Um, uh, It says. 'Wanna get ice cream after school today?'" He crumpled the note and stared at the ground. The boys in the class snickered. Dave piped up and said
"Jake and Aarons are going on a date! Hah!" The rest of the class erupted in laughter. Aaron sank into his seat and covered his face with his hoodie. Jake ran out into the hallway and to the boys bathroom where he had to be removed by the science teacher after refusing to leave.
