"Woah son, get back in your bed." One of the doctors put his hands on Jake's shoulders and tried to gently push him back onto the bed.

"No! Is Aaron gonna be okay?!" He pushed the doctor and sat on Aaron's bed. He held his hand and sobbed in fear.

"I don't know kid, but if he codes then I don't think we can do anything, it could cause blood clots and give the poor kid a stroke, we already did a Doppler ultrasound and he's got a few in places that are dangerous, and we can't go in the remove it without straining his body too much." Jake couldn't take this news and sat on his own bed.

"So you're saying he's probably going to die?" Jake stared at Aaron's face. Thinking of all the memories they had together. The first day they met, the bullies on the playground, the teacher making him read that note, the prom posal.

"Sorry kid. But it'd just make him suffer a more painful death to try and bring him back when he goes."
