He was still looking me in the eye but with a disappointed look which I could kids tell wasn't a good sign. We stood up together and aske me "What's wrong, don't you feel the same way". Once again I didn't know what to say my mind was like a blank sheet of paper and no pencil to write with. We just stared at each other for about five minutes until I finally had the nerve to say something. "Sam we have only dated for a year don't you think it's a little to early for this". He looked at me with an even more unsatisfied look and felt so bad. So this is what I said to try to fix it " Will you at least give some time to think about it". He nodded understandingly and sat with his friends. Meanwhile Lexi came over all excited and asked if he proposed. She is always thinking out of this world things but that's another reason I like her. I said no and she awwwed. Then I told her what really happened. " Sam told me he was in love with me!" she gasped and her mouth was wider open then mine and she was also speechless. She stared at me with those bulging brown eyes for about five minutes. Then I told her that I would think about it. She took me over to a corner and wispered you should never say that to a guy because for once in his lifetime he is being serious. This could cause cheating or breakup. "What!" I silently whispered.
