Elementals

chapter 5- moving in a new home

"wake up, wake up!" a familiar voice said shaking me.

i groan and turn the other way.

"melody, we're in the capitol already. would you like to see it or not?" she said and i immediatley shot up.

"we are?" i asked getting out of my bed, walking over to the window.

i could see, high skyscraper buildings, people wearing suits but before i could see more we entered a tunnel.

we are nearing the capitol.

Lucy, chase, noah and i enter the elevator after we were off the train and was led to a tall building.

there was a girl with us. her name was Amanda. she was in her twenties and was acting as our tour guide.

"i promise. you guys will love your floor. it's specifically designed for water elementals, like yourselves." amanda spoke up. breaking the silence.

we reached our floor and we all took in the surroundings.

the walls were painted a beautiful ocean blue, decorated will shells. the tables and chairs were made out of driftwood.

"we had this floor designed to suit your element." amanda said. "do you like it?" she asked.

"it's very lovely." lucy said adoring the wall.

"i agree." noah said. and i could see lucy's cheeks the slightest of red.

"now, the girls and the boys have different rooms but it will be just across from each other so there's no inconvenience." amanda said.

she led us to our rooms and we settled inside. reuniting again when we're all called for dinner.

lucy and i admire our room and chose our beds.

hours later we were called for dinner. we all head to the dining room and sat on our chairs.

"tomorrow, all four of you will be meeting the other elementals." amanda said as all four of us endulge in our food.

"and the next, you will be taught on how your element works." she adds.

"so its like going to school?" chase asks.

"kins of." she replied. "but you will be taught in a training room. not in a classroom."

"will we be training with the other elementals?" lucy asks.

"no your not. you will be training by element so that you could focus more."

"because if we put all of you in the same training room the others might get intimidated and you know what will happen." she finished.

after we finished eating, amanda left us to explore the floor by ourselves. i chose to stay in lucy and i's room because i really needed to rest.

i got sleeping clothes from the cabinet and changed into them.

i settled into the bed and started to fall asleep.

i heard the door close which means lucy is back. and i am one hundred percent sure that i heard her say 'bye noah' and i smile at that.

but before i could aknowledge her, i fell into a deep sleep.
