Chapter One: Missing Light
All I saw when I woke up was bright lights, it burned my eyes and hands, so..so many hands in my face. I felt like something was scraping my brain and I heard voices, weird voices and I couldn't make out what they were saying. Then suddenly the lights just shut off and I couldn't see anything, I felt the hands pick me up and carry me somewhere. The hands threw me down to the floor and I just heard my drop echo and echo.. and echo again. Pitch black room, cold floor and the only noise I heard was my breath. I got off the floor and tried to adjust to the new environment, it was so cold as if I was in a human freezer..my eyes couldn't see anything but the endless dark. I stumbled and shivered until I finally reached one of the corners of the room and sat on the floor. The room was so big I felt like I was just moving in a blank area of space.
I wish I could see the bright light I used to be able to see..I wish I was away from here. I wish I knew how I got here, and why. I wish I was back where I came from..and where that was. Suddenly I came to a realization, I have no idea about who I am, where I came from, where I am, I remember nothing. The fear got to me, the dark started to scare me, the cold started to bite at my skin..I started to feel nothing. I got lost in my mind as if I wasn't there anymore, was I even alive? Suddenly I heard a crash, like broken glass, you heard the pieces scatter the floor, yet you still couldn't see anything. Endless dark, Endless space, it was empty. But at that moment I heard a voice, it told me. "Follow me, follow me...follow me..". I sprung up from the area I was sitting in and frantically looked around. "Follow me!". The voice shouted, I jumped and just started running forward. No idea how I started moving as not too long ago I felt as if I was dead. Yet, I still ran.
