On October 4th, 1977, Daisy Jones and the Six played a show to a sold out crowd in Soldier Field, Illinois. It would be their last.

JANUARY 3rd, 1973 : THE STRIP. Los Angeles, CA.

"SHES WALKING DOWN THE STREET, BLIND TO EVERY EYE SHE MEETS."

Suzanne swayed her way into the strip bar, some people waved at her, but she wasn't noticed by many in the thick crowd. The moment was soundtracked by The Doors's "Hello I Love You" playing over the speakers. Her toned body was adorned in a jean pleated skirt, a white string bikini top, and red cowboy boots; a cigarette lodged between her index and middle fingers.

She noticed the bar was full, as it usually was when she had a gig lined up. Her touring band was backstage to greet her as she walked up to them. Of course, she greeted them kindly and began gathering her things to go on stage.

Only a few moments later, and the stage director was giving her the signal that it was time to go. Her band walked out first, the crowd of 100 or two hundred people— she wasn't sure the exact number— began to cheer. When she walked out, though, she swore she could've gone deaf.

"Hey y'all! My name is Suzanne Sheridan, and I was hoping I could play some songs for y'all! Sound good?" The crowd roared, though she noticed one man at the bar. He wore a sienna colored leather jacket and tight jeans. She had to admit— he was attractive, very attractive. She only wondered why he wasn't like the rest of the rowdy listeners. She made a mental note to try and find him after the show.

"Ok great! I think I'll play a little song called 'Rhiannon'." Once again, the crowd shouted at the top of their lungs for her.

She giggled a bit, before starting to sing:

"Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night, and wouldn't you love to love her?
She looks at life like a bird in flight, and who will be her lover?"

And slowly, she fell into the groove of her mind, swaying back and forth while she stroked her guitar. She found her eyes fading back to the man at the bar. Different than earlier, his face now wore a pleased smirk. She smiled back at him, though she wasn't sure he saw it.

As she hopped off the stage, Suzanne looked around the venue for the man she's seen at the bar. Her thoughts were interrupted when she felt a tap on her shoulder. Quickly, she snapped around, and there he was.

"Hey, uh I'm Eddie. I just wanted to say I thought you were really great up there. I'm actually in a band myself, we just recently moved out here from Pittsburgh."

Suzanne took a second to develop the bucketload of information he had just given her, and eventually came up with her own response.

"Thanks man, it's nice to meet you! I'm Suzanne, whats your band called?"

"Yeah, uh, were called The Dunne Brothers." Eddie responded ashamedly.

"So, Eddie Dunne? I'll keep that in mind." Suzanne said with a smirk.

"Actually, it's uh, its actually Eddie Roundtree. Yeah. Um, lead singers kind of a prick."

"Sure sounds like it. Y'know what, you're kind of cool, man. You wanna give me your number?"

Immediately, the blonde man became flushed.

"Oh yeah— yeah sure. I'll give you the house phone."

He jotted down a number, and the pair soon said their goodbyes.

SUZANNE SHERIDAN (rhythm guitar, Daisy Jones & The Six): It wasn't even two weeks later when Eddie walked right back into the bar with the rest of the band behind him.
