Chapter 22

Cameron's POV:

I saw him again. But this time, he followed me. I know it was real because it wasn't just faces, it was really him. His devilish smile, the same familiar shiver down my spine, everything. He followed me to the pharmacy area, where I picked up condoms, (for the joke), Mollie some more tampons just in case, better to be safe than sorry. He followed me watching me go through self checkout, he even followed me to my car. I got sick of it, I'm tired of watching the same shit from over my shoulder.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!" I scream.

Gone.

He's fucking gone.

I publicly embarrassed myself in the parking lot.

I hop in my car swiftly and throw the bag of things in the back, turning back there he was. Standing on the sidewalk in front of my car. I start the car and put it in reverse trying to leave, but before I could even press the gas petal, he hit the hood of my car with his hands, continually beating it. I drove off as fast as I could, not caring if I slung his body or not.

I reach the highway and exhale. He really is insane, but why me? Why all of a sudden he's back on my case.

I finally reach Mollies dorm and walk in. She walks up to me with a smile.

"Hey baby." She wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me.

I try to hide the fact that I'm scared out of my mind, but of course with her it never works.

"Hey, what's wrong?" She said rubbing her thumb against my jawbone.

I love when she does that. She does it a lot when we lay in bed at 2 am, staring at each other and talking about random things.

"Nothing is wrong what are you talking about?" I lie.

"Cameron, I know when you are lying. Can you please tell me? Maybe I can help." She says swaying back and forth.

I stand there. How do I tell her something so serious like this? I could or she could get killed. I can't have that.

"I'm just stressed out, it's a natural thing for me." I say out of the blue.

I am so so so so so sorry for not updating I am a terrible person I know, but again my sequel for my other book Amusement by rockygrier (aka Regalement) starts its first chapter on May 30th so I hope you guys read that as well, BUT START READING AMUSEMENT IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY!!!!!!
