"Damn, why is it so gross down here?"
"Hah, that part's pretty accurate. Gotta commend the devs for their attention to detail."
"Wh... what are you saying, that it's this gross under my bed?"
"...Yeah? When was the last time you dusted?"
"Uhhh...like... three months ago?"
"As I said: pretty accurate."
"Ngh..."
The two girls sat in Lynn's dimly lit bedroom, each wearing a set of VR goggles and holding a game controller. Lynn sat on the floor in front of her TV, back against the bed frame, while Sana sat on the edge of the bed, facing the same direction.
"But what about the bugs?" the human continued. "They're just exaggerating the number so there are more obstacles to avoid!"
"Eeeeeh... depends." Sana shrugged. "During the summer, it can get kinda...yeah."
"Wha- seriously? I never see any!"
"Well... apparently you don't see a lot of things." The tiny girl smiled. "As this game is showing me."
"I... I can see what I need to," Lynn mumbled, narrowing her eyes as she focused on her in-game surroundings.
"Heh... Fair enough. And by that logic, I see more than I need to," Sana smirked.
The two girls were playing a game in which one player plays as a Tiny and hides in a room while the other player plays a human who tries to find them before the timer ends. There were different rooms that could be used as stages, but the current room resembled Lynn's bedroom quite well, thanks to her custom-designing its furniture and layout beforehand.
"But, man... everything's so huge... Even my ottoman – that thing's, like, not even up to my knee in real life... Hmm, I forgot, is it a scalable surface?"
"Why, is that where you're planning to go next? I'll just move around to the side of the bed here, then..."
"Wha- no, that's not what I meant!" Lynn's eyes widened as she leaned forward and brought the controller close to her chest. "It's not like I'm under the bed facing the ottoman, if that's what you're thinking!"
"...You are such a terrible liar."
"Ahhh... no, no, no, go away!"
The virtual ground shook as the human in the game approached and crouched down near the bed.
"Found you~"
"I-it's not over till you grab me!" Lynn clenched the controller tightly and pushed the joystick in the opposite direction with all her might, even knowing that it wouldn't make her run any faster.
"Just try me, you're not getting anywhere."
"Ngh... Dust bomb!"
The in-game Tiny character turned around and blew a cloud of the dust under the bed into the human character's eyes, impeding Sana's vision almost entirely.
"Haha, take that!"
"Agghh, shit! Why is that a thing?! I can't even do that in real life! How powerful do they think my lungs are?!"
Tiny clunking sounds came from Sana's controller as she pressed as many buttons as she could to try and dispel the handicap.
Meanwhile, the Tiny character ran towards the dresser, which had a smaller opening that hands could not fit under.
"It's over, you're not getting me! Better luck next time," Lynn smirked, leaning back and lowering her controller.
There were 10 seconds left on the clock. If it reached 0, the Tiny character won. If it stopped before that due to being grabbed, it was the human character's win.
