At Tails's house
Mario: so let-a me get this straight-a Peach is back at the castle?
E Gadd: indeed so. She also mentioned that she has some friends of yours by the names of Amy and Cream Sonic
Sonic: Amy, Cream, Rouge and Omega? What are they doing over there?
Tails: this is very strange indeed
Shadow: maybe instead of asking these dumb questions we go there and ask her ourselves!
Knuckles: I hate to admit it guys but Shadow's right
Shadow: don't push your luck Knuckles
Knuckles: maybe don't get in my way and I won't
Yoshi: anyways we should get going
Luigi: yeah
E Gadd: alrighty then. You boys continue finding those emeralds while I stay here and continue work on the gateway. Tails and I have made some progress so far
Mario: you heard the man! Let's-a go!
They head to Peach's castle
Mario: who's-a Amy anyway?
Sonic: she used to be my fangirl stalker and never left me alone. Always asking me to go on dates with her. It was hell. One day though she finally realised what she was doing realised I wasn't intrested in her so we became better friends because of it
Mario: so are gonna try again with-a her or not?
Sonic: not really. I never liked her as a girlfriend anyway. *breaks the 4th wall* and no! I am NOT shy of her! Stop saying that!
Luigi: hey guys we're here!
They arrive at the castle and are greeted by Toadsworth
Toadsworth: Masters Mario, Luigi, Yoshi! Thank heavens your here. And you must be masters Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow. We've heard about you from the others
Yoshi: where are they anyway?
Toadsworth: in the throne room. Right this way boys
They head to the throne room and are greeted by Peach, Amy, Toad, Cream, Vanilla, Toadette, Rouge and Omega
Peach: *gasp* Mario!
Mario: Princess!
They run to each other and kiss
Sonic: eww! Guys get a room! There's kids reading this ya know!
Luigi: don't-a ruin the moment Sonic
Tails: sorry man but he's right
Sonic: ugh...
Amy: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, great to see your all okay!
Cream: we were all wondering if you all were alright. But I knew you would be okay Mr Sonic
Rouge: Shadow. Boy are we glad to see you
Shadow: you too. Any sign of the emeralds?
Rouge: well we did mannage to snag 1
Omega: here is the emerald we require
They show them the white chaos emerald
Tails: hey! A chaos emerald!
Knuckles: but what I know is how did you mannage to find it?
Rouge: you know how good of a treasure Hunter I am Knuckles
Knuckles: yeah... sure...
Luigi: and-a most importantly how did-a you mannage to get back-a here?
Toad: want me to tell the story or should I?
Toadette: I dunno
Peach: don't worry everyone. I'll tell the story. It started after our worlds merged into 1. When Bowser was knocked out by the flash of light I saw it as my chance to esacpe
We then flashback to Peach's perspective of the series so far
Peach was running as far as she could hoping Bowser wouldn't catch her. She stops to catch her breathe
Peach: wow. I've been running forever
She then heard some sounds coming from the bushes
Peach: huh?! Hello?! Who's there?!
Toad: princess! Thank god your all right!
Toadette: we've been looking all over for you as well
Peach: Toad! Toadette! Am I glad to see you
All of a sudden they was surrounded by Eggman's Badniks
Peach: oh dear
Toad: who- who are they?
Toadette: I dunno but they don't seem friendly
They try to fight off the Badniks but they don't have much luck since more of them keep coming and due to them not being familiar with them
Toadette: now what?
Peach: I don't know. I've never fought these type of robots before
Just then Amy and Cream appear to help out. They mannage to defeat most of Eggman's robots in the process
Amy: you'd better be careful next time. Eggman's forces aren't that friendly
Peach: who are you?
