[A/N: I don't plan on doing this too often, but I just wanted to say that if you would like to look at the art without scrolling through the text, I post them separately in my art book right after each chapter is published. Alternatively, you can see the art early on my Ko-fi, they are organized in an album in numerical order.

Also, this chapter was supposed to have more art, but due to a few things in my personal life and a lack of motivation, it only has one piece. I hope, in the future, to add the rest of the art that I had planned for this chapter. With that being said, sorry for this long note, and enjoy.]

It had been a few days since J had returned and to say it has been awkward would be an understatement. For the most part, J wouldn't bother with acknowledging Uzi's existence, even though she was always around the pod. Likewise, Uzi has been avoiding the twin-tailed drone as much as she possibly could. Even if she is trying to fix the landing pod, the tension between the two of them is unbearable for her.

"... *Sigh*... Right... N?!" Uzi walked into the tower, nervously looking around.

"N?!" Uzi went over to the landing pod, realizing that N wasn't around.

"I guess, he's out hunting... V? ... Who am I kidding? She's definitely hunting too." Uzi hopped into the pod, flinching once she noticed that she wasn't alone.

It seemed that J was still here, sitting in one of the pilot chairs. She was busy looking over some things on a holographic tablet. Uzi stood still, watching J carefully as if she was going to pounce on her. J turned away with a look of discomfort. She tried to ignore the feeling of Uzi's eyes on her. Uzi couldn't help but be a bit curious, she walked over and tried to peer at what J was doing. It didn't seem like much, only some reports about the amount of Workers dealt with and the status of her squad members. J's grip on the tablet tightened before she stated, "... Don't you have anything better to do?".

Uzi took a step back, startled by J's sudden voice.

"Honestly, I'm trying to work in peace, I'd rather not have you invading my personal space.".

"Bite Me! I was only making sure you weren't talking with the company!" J let out a frustrated sigh.

"I'm not, I'm doing what's part of my job as squad leader. Besides, I highly doubt my reports are of any use to you and your, 'murder all humans' plot." Uzi crossed her arms, glaring at the drone that went back to her reports.

Uzi turned to leave, wanting to wait outside for N, but she then realized something. J knows the most about the company compared to the others. Perhaps, she could get some information from the workaholic. Uzi smirked, readjusting herself as she turned back around.

"So... J? You seem to be very... informed about JCJenson, right?" J stopped writing and looked over at Uzi.

"Of course, I am. I'm one of the most loyal employees of the company. Unlike my squad members, I was given the opportunity to hold many of the company's s-" J then squinted at Uzi, suspicion in her gaze.

"Why are you asking all of a sudden?" Uzi cleared her throat, looking away for a moment before she continued.

"Well, I just think it's impressive... I mean, having all that knowledge at your disposal..." J closed her tablet and retracted it back into her arm.

"You're not getting any confidential information from me. So, drop the act, toaster." Uzi groaned as J crossed her arms, still glaring at her.

"... Fine! Could you at least tell me what Manor Retainer Drone is?" J's expression shifted, a mixture of surprise and confusion on her visor.
