The Lover Boy Within

CHAPTER SIX

The sizzling sound of butter and garlic on the wok made Giannis shift in one of the island seats anticipating the pre imagined taste of how the food will be in his mouth . Nora had made cous cous and chicken but he always liked it coated with butter and garlic and the scent filled his nostrils.

"Have a bite", she said to him as she placed one on the plate in front of him.

"Yummy", he replied with a wide smile and smirk on his face. This was the fifth time she prepared it for him because he told her how long it had been since he had one but after he tasted the first one she did, he practically begged her to make for him at least once when they hooked up. They finished eating while she loaded the dishwasher and Giannis cleaned the table top so they could have some time off and just chill.

"Thank you for staying", he said while holding her from behind. "I don't know what I would have done if you weren't here with me", he added as he placed a kiss to her cheek before kissing her shoulder.

"Giannis", she struggled to reply as his kisses began to turn her on. She was dressed in a loose fitted mid thigh gown that gave him easy access to her while she could feel his crotch bulge against her ass. He turned her to face him and began kissing her quickly with quick breaths between each kiss.

"Someone can see us", Nora said even though she didn't want him to stop. Her panties were already wet but she hadn't lost her mind yet.

"It's just us here, no one will see us", Giannis replied as he put his finger between her folds and started moving in quickly. She eventually forgot about being seen and they continued to enjoy their time with each other for the remaining part of the hour catching up with other events.

Nora returned to the guest room to pack her things and prepare to fly back to Phoenix as Devin had sent her numerous messages about her whereabouts.. She had a swell time with Giannis but he still dodged genuinely answering the question about the status of their relationship. She was wise enough to know "I'll always have love for you and I love you were two different things. She was definitely stuck in a loveless relationship and though she loved him deeply, it was important to give another guy a chance if the situation presented itself and if there were genuine feelings on her part and whoever the person turned out to be. There was no plan on stopping anything with him because she also loved how he made her feel good in bed as they had very good chemistry. He understood her body and she wasn't willing to end that but maybe it was her being naive that prompted that decision in her head.

"I'm ready to leave..!!!", she stated as she rolled her luggage out and into the living room. Giannis was waiting for her as he turned his head and nodded as she got closer to him.

"I'll drop you off", he said as he took the box and began to head for his SUV. They both didn't say anything till they reached the airport and Giannis stopped on the line near the departure gate.

"Thank you", Nora said as she was about to leave the car but he stopped her from turning and leant in to plant a deep kiss on her lips.

"I should be the one thanking you..!!!", he replied before placing a kiss on her forehead and she walked out of the car and off into the crowd.

Giannis was back home and alone hours after Nora had gotten to Phoenix and scrolled through his instagram feed. For the first time since they became fuck buddies he searched for her page and explored her posts.

"Nora Lucile", he remembered her full name and her page was the first to come up, luckily she wasn't private so he could navigate easily without anyone noticing. The last picture she had there was from Game 7 of the Warriors and Bucks. She was seated with Chris Brown and Michael.B Jordan to her right while Marci Klein the daughter of Calvin Klein was to her left. Nora looked like a diamond in that post and to be frank anyone who saw the picture would think she was a celebrity. Her caption "Amongst the Stars..!!!" was the perfect fit and it definitely had the most likes on her page. There were not more than forty images on her handle but each one was properly taken. She had perfect fashion sense and looked as classy as ever in each of them. There was a baby picture of her and another young boy just about her age at the tail end captioned 'Just the two of us' and he figured he was most likely the cousin she always spoke about. He noticed she was a fan of the Suns and felt somewhat irritated at that but continued to scroll back up through her page. She had recently liked a picture of Devin Booker and he shrugged at the thought. Maybe she liked Book but he tried to push the thought out of his head because most young girls in Phoenix had crushes on him. He was one of the most sought after men in NBA because of his looks so it didn't appear strange that she would like his pictures. He was lost in his thoughts while on her page when he heard a voice.

"Are you now stalking Nora Giannis?", Lebron said as he laughed shamelessly at his friend. "For Gods sake she has the right to like other people G, i'm happy there's at least some activity on her page that's getting you worked up, anyway Joel is outside trying to park, how you doing? We thought to come see you", he added as he landed on the couch in front of him.

"Since when did you move in silence jeeze", Giannis laughed realizing he had been caught in the act. He quickly left her page but made a mental note of her username as he began to talk with Lebron.

"As I previously asked, How are you doing now G? How's your ankle and how's Nora?", the Miami Heat forward asked as Joel casually walked in and put down his hoodie.

"I'm better, the ankle is about 80% and Nora's fine, she left some hours ago", Giannis replied with a smile but Joel interrupted him before he finished.

"Look we're happy you are better and your leg's almost completely healed, seems Nora's been here the whole week to satisfy your cravings, Giannis if you're not going to be serious with that girl i think you should let her go, you've been stringing her along three years on now, how do you manage that Makayla doesn't have you all to herself eh", Joel asked rather pissed.

"Guys, we are good, she understands the relationship we have, Nora's not even my girlfriend yea so she doesn't complain nor say anything about Makayla and please I'm not stringing her along", Giannis replied upset.

"It's either you are now stupid or you just choose to be delirious, isn't it obvious you are in love with her? Is it until you are able to shout I love you Nora Lucile that you'll realize how much she means to you? or you have just refused to move on from the past?, Joel struck back but Giannis got up in a fit of rage and lunged at Joel thankfully Lebron was quick to get in between the two men.

"Giannis this isn't you, why are you letting a harmless question get to you eh? Joel is looking out for you, and what he's saying is so true because if you really love that girl and you find out later when she's moved on, you would hate yourself, then it would be too late because she has endured more than enough and for so many years, strike when the iron is hot", Lebron advised him causing him to calm down and apologize.

"I'm sorry Joel I just let my emotions get the best of me, I'm just not ready to really love anyone yet, but I'm working on becoming a better person honestly, I'm just not ready as I earlier said but things are better between us", the Greek native explained.

"If you say so G, but know that we warned you, if you still on with this open relationship meanwhile you feel terrible when you see her with other men, hear her talk to other guys or start a defined relationship with someone else I hope you don't go all ballistic on her", Joel warned.

"I also hope Makayla doesn't attack her one day for being your side chic though, you know that girl has her claws on you and you give her too much props", Lebron said worriedly.

"She won't, I'm not really dating her either she's just the leading woman in my life", Giannis responded as he got up to get water from the dispenser.

"Anyway let's leave your personal issues now and try to play some ball.

The three men were on the home court when Giannis phone began to ring and it was Makayla, he excused himself and went to let her into the main door before heading back to the court with her.

"Hi, Hi", Lebron and Joel simultaneously said as she walked into the court.

"Hi", she replied and immediately held onto Giannis waist. She knew Lebron and Joel didn't like her but she didn't care, as long as Giannis was doing what he was supposed to do it wasn't an issue but she couldnt stay with them alone for a minute. She and Giannis went back inside the house to his room where she made the first move on him but after she gave him a blow job, he told her he was tired and just wanted to sleep.

Joel and Lebron had sent him texts just when they were about to leave which he acknowledged because he couldn't leave Makayla at that moment. It kind of felt weird noticing her neediness to him but he just wasn't feeling it as he used to but after a while she got the vibes and decided to leave which made him feel like a big weight had been lifted off his shoulder. Maybe he didn't really need her anymore, probably he didn't but he could feel the in coming weeks, he would make a decision.
