CHAPTER TWELVE

"Hey babe, you know you haven't given me a reply about the interview and article you are to do with me eh?", Giannis asked over the phone as they continued to talk. He was lucky the time had been rescheduled and sent to fox so there was more than enough time for Nora to create the content and do it. He wanted to be able to give his coach feedback regarding if she will be available and she finally agreed but not before telling him about her issues at the office.

"So baby I have some issues at the office even though I'm not sure it will affect the job with you at least for now, first of all, I think my system was compromised and much of my work stolen, there was an article we were tasked to create content for at work which I had been working on but remember I told you it felt like the system was controlled remotely, turns out the article I submitted was flagged for plagiarism and there's an internal investigation going on. So that's why I've been a bit worried and not certain about if I should do it but if it's okay we can do the interview soon before any thing unfavorable pops up from it , I will just fly to Milwaukee briefly then fly back to Phoenix", Nora explained to him because it was his third time asking and he didn't get any proper response on the first two occasions.

"That's not okay, is there someone that's out to get you at the office? might be someone who wants your seat, people can be very mean but did you send them details of the mails you sent regarding being your work system being compromised? That should show that there's no wrongdoing on your part,, I'm sure it won't affect you in any way okay and by the way thanks for also agreeing to do the interview with me", he replied trying to comfort her.

"It's fine I'm sure it will be alright, since today is Tuesday why don't I come over on Friday morning by 10am to conduct the interview, I will head for your place from the airport and also confirm other details from my supervisor once this call disconnects so we can finalize the final details of the job to be done okay", Nora explained further to Giannis who sounded happier on the phone than when he called.

"Perfect dear", I will also let Mike know you've agreed so they set up the interview room for Friday", he replied before they exchanged their goodbyes and ended the call.

"Thank you", Nora said and disconnected the call after placing orders for two boxes of dunking donuts and couldn't wait for them to arrive but her cousin was shouting out her name from the first floor of their house. She knew he had read her message about the job she was about to do for work and wanted the details.

"I got your message dearest sister", Devin said with shining teeth. "I don't want any deets to be spared, you know I've come here for information eh", he said with a wide smile on his face and waited expectantly.

"Oh Dee I knew you won't let me rest", Nora replied laughing hysterically before he jumped on her bed and sat down yoga style with arms open.

"Start now please..!!!", he said and was becoming impatient.

"Well the Bucks have always used my colleague Jackie Willow to conduct interviews and articles for them and I have never been chosen not even once, surprisingly I was chosen to do a one on one with their Power Forward Giannis Antetokounpo and come up with ideas on how to make it worthwhile but I turned it down initially and told my supervisor to assign it to someone else, she said they wanted something different that's why they decided to go with me but I told them outrightly I wasn't interested, Doreen got in touch with them and informed them I was unavailable but there have been a series of mail exchange why they wanted something different, they were going to pull the plug with Fox if I refused and use another network, it's meant to air on Amazon Prime about two months after production and my management finally convinced me to do it so I accepted, I already have the content and questions ready for the session so I will be leaving very early on Friday morning straight to his residence where the camera crew will be but will be back here by Saturday evening", she narrated giving full details but without obvious recourse to the fact that she was in a relationship with Giannis.
