What are this generation's youth?
That question gets multiple answers,
We are either more intelligent than the last or the worst yet to be seen.
We're called whiny, but they don't know what we see everyday.
The anger of our parents.
Their generation, the last "good" generation.
One of the most racist and bigot generations to ever see light.
And so, yeah, my generation is different for a number of reasons.
Many of which people choose to ignore so they can focus on the bad.
Suicide's tripled in amount, but so's child abuse,
Bullying daily by the kids who feel nothing but pain.
"It's quite a shame." All the adults say.
Like we're the ones to blame.
We didn't ask for the lives we live.
We're thrown in like sheep to the wolves.
And called weak when we die trying to get out.
So who are teens today?
Teens today are the first of a new generation.
A generation hidden behind the anger and oppression,
Of the ones who made us.
