             "HEY Evie...this is my mom," Lillian watched as Tracy introduced the two, she frowned at Evie who charmed her way through every conversation.

She was like the person everyone wanted to be. If you knew Evie you were jealous of her and you didn't even know why, the outside was just so perfect, she was mysterious and calculated yet so sure of herself. Lillian wanted to have what Evie had.

"Wow like the hot older sister," Evie said to Melanie(Tracy's mom). "Okay...what do you want girls" Mel smiled chewing her minty gum.

"Could you drive us to melrose?" Tracy bat her eyelashes at her mother wanting to go to the mall. "Well let's go," she said getting in the car smiling, Lux sat in the front while Tracy and Evie sat in the backseat.

MALL PARKING LOT

"I'm thinking of getting some hair extensions, or maybe some of that new body glitter" Melanie said smiling unbuckling her seat belt.

"No mom it's fine we can go by ourselves...you can just go run an errand or something - And...Lux don't you have homework...my mom can drive you home." Tracy said coldly and Melanie looked over to Lux.

She fake smiled and nodded. "Uhm...yeah, My mom asked Melanie to watch me until after her meeting again...so I'll just wait for you to get home...again." She sighed before facing straight staring out the car window at the people walking into the mall.

"Alright maybe for an hour...I'd have to talk to Evies mom though..." Melanie said as Tracy rolled her crystal eyes.

"Brooke is just my guardian..." Evie muttered handing Mel a piece of paper with her guardians number on it as she got out of the car.

"Okay then." Mel said flatly looking at Tracy who started to get out of the car. "Whoa, whoa, whoa...I haven't talked to Evie's mom yet." She pulled out her phone from the cup holders in between her and Lux.

"Mom...this is the best day of my life. I'll kill you if you mess it up," Tracy looked at Lux who didn't even bother looking at Tracy since she was tearing up a bit.

"Alright..." Melanie said giving in watching Tracy leave the car. Melanie started to drive dialling Brooke's number, which at first she didn't even pick up. Melanie dropped Lux off back the freehand house trying to call Brooke again once they parked.

"Sweetie, go warm yourself up some chicken noodle soup - it's in the can in the fridge...I'm gonna try and reach Brooke." She said to Lux as her phone begun dialling.
