Chapter 22

LO'AKS POV:
I slowly open my eyes as a heavy sting flashes through my head. "Lo'ak!" I hear my mother her voice. I try to sit up but I fall back down weakly. "Don't get up. You're not recovered yet." My dad says gently pushing my shoulder back down on the bed. I frown and look around slowly.
How did I end up here? "W-what happened?" I ask confused. "Your friend brought you here, he was very handsome and gentle." My mom says and I widen my eyes. "I believe his name was Lix." My dad says and I feel a blush taking place on my cheeks.

"O-oh.." I say. "He said that you weren't feeling good." My mom says. What actually happened? I try to remember as much as possible. Oh.. I remember. Thank Eywa that Lix didn't say anything about what happened! "But why did you run away? You really left us worried.." my mom says making me feel bad. "I'm so sorry.. I was just tired of.. feeling useless." I say biting my bottom lip to prevent myself from crying. "We're so sorry, son." My dad says making me look up.

My dad finally called me son? "Where is Teyam?" I ask. "He is staying a with his friend for a few days." My mom says. Of course, Ao'nung. "Where did.. Lix go?" I ask quietly. "Probably back home but he said he will visit you soon." My mom says making me smile quickly. I already miss him..

A few minutes later someone walks in the room. I look up and see Lix. My face lifts up with joy and I smile. "Lo, You're awake!" He says looking happy. I see my mom and dad exchanging looks both smiling at each other.
"Didn't Ronal ask us to help her?" My mom asks and my dad quickly nods. "Let me know if he needs anything." My mom tells Lix and he nods. "Of course, Miss." He says smiling at my mom and they leave.

"How do you feel, my love?" Lix quickly walks to me and sits down next to me. "M-my head hurts.." I say and he caresses my head slowly. "Aww, ma Lo. I hate seeing you in pain you don't enjoy." He says smirking and I roll my eyes.

"Disgusting!" I say and he chuckles. "I think you were feeling too much pressure at once." He says softly caressing my cheek. I blush and quickly hide my face out of embarrassment. "Aww, someone is shy now.. you weren't that shy yesterda-" I cover his mouth with my hand and he chuckles.

"You were like 𝑳-𝑳-𝑳𝒊𝒙~ 𝒂𝒉𝒉~!" He mocks in a higher voice. "S-shut up you skwaxng!" I blush deeply as I hit him. He chuckles and grabs my chin gently. "Atleast I know all of your weak spots now. Except for those two.." He says slowly placing his hand on my thigh as he slowly moves it upwards.
"A~ahh.. stop.." I say gently pushing his hand away. He apologizes and starts playing with my tail. "I-it seems like my parents like you.." I break the awkward silence. "I'm sure they'll approve us mating." He says softly squeezing my tail. "I hope." I say.

My eyes slowly close but I quickly open them, not wanting Lix to leave. "No, my prince. You need some sleep." He says grabbing my hand. "B-but.. don't leave me." I say as he smirks. "If you beg." He says and I roll my eyes. "Never mind." I say and he chuckles. "Of course I won't leave." He says laying down next to me. I turn around and snuggle up with him.
I feel his hands slowly caressing my tail making my ears twitch in comfort as I peacefully fall asleep.

NETEYAM'S POV:
I open my eyes and jump at a strong pain in my arm. I quickly look at it to see a fucking crab hanging on my arm. I try to pull it off with my other hand but it doesn't want to let go. "Ow!" I yell out dramatically. It finally lets go and I widen my eyes at the amount of blood I'm losing. I look at Ao'nung who's sleeping deeply.

"Wake up, Ao!" I say shaking him as he slowly opens his eyes. "What's wrong, Tey?" He asks still not being entirely awake. "I've been bitten!" I say almost yelling out the pain. He opens his eyes and his mouth drops as he looks at my arm that's dripping off blood. "Damn, what the fuck happened?" He asks flabbergasted.

"A-a crab!" I cry out as, to my surprise, he starts chuckling. "Why the fuck are you laughing?" I ask still crying as the pain gets heavier. "Help me!" I yell as he laughs. "Sorry.. but you're losing tons of blood." He says and I frown as he continues laughing. "Literally what's so funny?" I ask annoyed. "Your face and the way you cry!" He says still laughing as I hit him.
"Ao.. it seriously hurts." I say after a while. "Fuck, I forgot you were bleeding!" He says shocked as I roll my eyes. He finally grabs my arm gently to stop it from bleeding so much. "I have no idea how to fix this.. but I think I have some bandage though." He says. Thank Eywa! Because if it was for Ao'nung, he would've let me bleed to death.

"Stay here for a minute, I'll go grab the bandage." He says quickly leaving. He comes back in a minute and sits down next to me. "Okay, let me know if it's too tight." He says gently wrapping my underarm in the bandage. "Tighter.." I say as he smirks. I shake my head and he grins continuing to applying the bandage.

"Too tight.." I say not looking at him to prevent myself from blushing. "Is this good?" He asks making it less tighter. I nod and he applies it. "What if it's infected?" He asks and I shrug. "We can't even swim back now, too much water in your wound will make it worse." He says and I sigh. "Sorry, Tey. I didn't want this to happen.. I just wanted to-" "It's not your fault, I really enjoyed being with you." I say looking at the floor. "I'm so sorry.." he says gently kissing the bandage on my arm. I smile and hug him. "Ao'nung, it's not a big deal." I say and he sighs.

"How am I gonna take you back?" He asks a little panicked. "I don't want to." I say. "But-" "I wanna stay here. With you. Just us.." I say and he nods. "Does it hurt?" He asks looking at my bandage. I shake my head. It just stings a little but I don't want him to be worried. "Please just tell me when the pain gets heavier." He says and I nod. "Let's go see the sunset." He says and I nod excited. As we arrive, he grabs my hand and sits down. I sit down next to him in the soft sand as I put my head on his shoulder. "Remember when we first met?" He asks and I chuckle. "How could I forget?"
