NETEYAMS POV:
"We should go back to the little island we went to last time." I say, laying down next to Ao. "Right, when you got bitten by a crab and there was  no way of returning. Oh and you also almost drowned." He says and I sigh. "You're so overdramatized, Ao.. we're gonna be fineeee." I say as I grab his hand. "I love spending time with you, especially on an abandoned island where nobody is around." I say.

"Please please please, we can explore the other side of that island! You've never been the-" "Tey, I don't want you to get hurt again." He interrupts. "I won't get hurt again, I love how you can be so caring but I promise we'll be okay." I say resting my head onto his chest. "Whatever you say.." he says. "Really?" I say excited. "We have to go to my mom first to get the keys to our kelku (kind of house their parents own). "

"Let's go then!" I say getting up as I pull his arm. "Okay okay wait." He says annoyed. I'm so excited to spend time with Ao again. We walk to his parents' place and we walk in. "Hey mom.." Ao says, I can tell he is nervous. "Nungie! And.. you must be Neytiri her oldest!" I smile at the nickname and quickly look at Ao as he looks at the floor embarrassed.

"Indeed I'm her oldest son, nice to meet you. I'm Ao his-" "He is my boyfriend." He interrupts me and I look at him. I feel relief and comfort at the same time.. he doesn't want me to be his secret which makes me feel.. special. "Of course, how cute!" Ronal says as Ao smiles in relief. He
also must be happy that his mom accepts us. "So.. do you know where the key to our kelku is?" Ao asks. They talk and Ronal passes him a key. "See you later, son and son in law." She says making me smile.

Ao walks to me and we walk outside. "Please act like none of this happened." Is the first thing he says, avoiding eye contact. "Of course, Nungie!" I say giggling. He pulls my tail, making me laugh even more. "It's so cute!" I say. "What?" He asks annoyed at me laughing at the nickname. "The nickname is so cute!"I say as he sighs. "No, it's not." He says as I giggle.

Suddenly he pushes me to a wall nearby. "This desperate face you're making right now is also cute.." He says as I feel a blush creeping on my cheeks. "Shut-" He kisses my lips as I close my eyes in pleasure. I missed his warm, soft lips already. "Let's go now, Nungie!" I say grabbing his hand. "Usually I would kill people for
calling me that name except for you and my mom." He says as I smile. It makes me feel so special..
We finally arrive at the sea surface as Ao calls his ilu. I hop on behind him and wrap my arms around his waist. "Can you hold the keys?" He asks and I nod. He passes me the keys as I hold them closely.

I open my eyes and realize we're still heading to the island. "Are we almost there?" I ask after it feels like hours. "Almost.." he says. I want sit up
right as I feel something slipping down my leg. Wha- The key! "Ao! Stop! The key fell!" I say panicked as Ao quickly stops. "Fuck.. I have to go get him but the ilu will swim away!" He says and before even thinking about the consequences, I just dive into the cold water.

I see nothing but a blurry vision of blue. C'mon Tey.. think about what Ao'nung said.. the sea is around you and in you.. To my surprise, I gasp for air in the water and my strength just powers up. I quickly look around seeing a very tiny silver thing slowly drifting away. I rush to the little silver formed thing as I grab it before it disappears.

Thank Eywa! It's the keys! I'm about to swim back as my foot doesn't work with me. What? Fuck.. I'm stuck between a rock! My ankle! I quickly struggle but nothing works..
My heart beats faster as I start breathing quicker and I start panicking. I can't even yell for help.. I just should have listened to Ao.. I'm such a dumb stubborn skxawng! My eyelids start getting heavier as the vission gets even blurrier. My body gives up and just collapses in the water. I'm officially drowning..
