Shiro Honoka

the first encounter

Giyu's pov.

I ran through the forest trying to find the slayer that sent out a distress message when I heard yelling "GET AWAY FROM ME!!" It was a girl "That's probably her" I mumbled running in that direction "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" I saw her sitting on the branch of a tree staring at a dog sitting right below her. She looked at me and asked me to get it away from her, and I hesitantly agreed. I walked over and shooed the dog away trying to stay calm. After it finally ran away I sighed out of relief and looked up at the girl "Thank you" She smiled "You're welcome, you can come down" I replied blankly, she looked at me her smile fading into a look of regret " About that... I don't know how to, so uh could you help me?" She smiled awkwardly "You climbed a tree knowing you didn't know how to get down?" I gave her an annoyed look "Yes?" I crossed my arms "Can't you jump down" I asked "I have a slight fear of heights. Could you catch me? She asked a little hopeful "Fine if it makes you happy" I rolled my eyes annoyed. After a minute I gave the signal that it was ok to jump down. She hesitated before jumping, I caught her and then set her down. She looked at me and flushed red covering her face. "Are you okay?" She looked at me shaking "No I am not okay! I just made a fool of myself in front of a Hashira!" She cried "Why did you send out a distress message about being lost if you were stuck in a tree while trying to get away from a dog?" I asked her, ignoring what she said. She was staring at the ground mumbling to herself "Hello?" Her head shot up "Sorry I was lost but while I was sitting here waiting that dog came out of nowhere and started chasing me so I ended up cli-" She passed out before she could finish. I grabbed her before she hit the ground and noticed she had a large gash on her back. "Shit!" I realized I didn't have time to get her to the butterfly mansion. I sat her up before removing her shirt, I cleaned her wound and bandaged it. I took my haori off and put it on her.

After about fifteen minutes she woke up and started to freak out "Just so you know I didn't do anything to you I just cleaned and bandaged your wound" She calmed down "Oh thank you... how bad was it?" She tried to touch it but flinched "Pretty bad I'm surprised you lasted as long as you did without passing out from blood loss." I stared at the ground "Oh I don't think I gave you my name I'm Shiro, Shiro Honoka" She said with a lot of confidence "I'm Giyu Tomioka'' She smiled "We have to head back" I stood up and was about to start walking away but I noticed she ⁷was having a hard time standing "damn it, the only reason I was able to move earlier was because of the damn adrenaline rush" I walked over and picked her up careful not to touch her wound before running out of the forest and toward the butterfly mansion. On the way to the butterfly mansion, Honoka started talking to me

Shiro: I don't want to go see Miss Kocho

Miyu: why?

Shiro: she's a bitch

Giyu: true but you need to get your wound properly cleaned and stitched

Shiro: fine but I'm not staying there

Giyu: then where will you go

Shiro: idk, could I stay with you?

Giyu: no

Shiro: why not

Giyu: I don't like letting people stay at my place

Shiro: pleeeease?

Giyu: I already said no

Shiro: pretty please?

Giyu: We're here

Shiro: hmp

I walked inside and called out for Kocho but Aoi responded instead "I'm sorry she's on a mission right now but I can help" I smiled softly at her "Thank you Aoi" She looked at me happily "your welcome, just follow me and I'll get her fixed up" I nodded and followed her to one of the rooms setting Honoka on the bed before walking out. Around 30 minutes later Aoi walked out and handed me my haori. "She will have to stay here for a few days before her wound is healed up enough to do anything" I nodded and thanked her before leaving to go back to my estate.

With Aoi

I closed the door and turned toward the cabinet to gather the supplies "How did you injure yourself?" I asked, grabbing stitches. "I was about to win my fight against the demon but it activated its stupid blood art at the last minute" I walked over to her and motioned for her to remove the haori "What was its blood art like?" I started unwrapping the bandage careful not to touch her wound "When it was activated nothing happened at first so I thought it was just trying to scare me away but when I tried to move I realized I was stuck turns out the darn thing could manipulate plants and trees" she flinched when I started cleaning her wound "after it had me stuck it tried to flee but I got out of my restraints in time to kill it although it managed to hit me with a tree branch"

I handed her a rag and a pillow "You're gonna need these" She took the hint and laid down biting the rag and holding the pillow "Please stay as still as you can so I can stitch your wound" She nodded. I slowly started to stitch the wound trying to be gentle. After around 30 minutes I finished stitching and bandaging her wound. While I was putting supplies away I noticed Giyu-san's haori was still in the room. I picked it up and took it out to him. I explained that Honoka was going to have to stay for a few days before her wound was fully healed he thanked me before leaving.

I walked back into the room making sure Honoka was comfortable before leaving to go check on some of the other patients.

Time skip 2 weeks later

Giyu's pov.

I was sitting in my garden enjoying the peace when it was interrupted by someone knocking on my front door. I stood up and walked into my estate. I opened the door to see Honoka "Hi" She looked at me happily "What do you want?" She stared at the ground anxiously "I don't have anywhere to stay " I looked at her annoyed "Can't you stay at a wisteria in?" Her smile faded "Yeah but I want someone to hang out with"
"Why come to me though?" She looked at me frowning "I would stay with my girlfriend but she's on a three-week mission" I looked at her with pure shock. She looked at panicking "shit um that's no-" I cut her off "You're fine I was just a little surprised" She calmed down "Also I know you're not going to leave me alone until I let you stay with me, you can come in I guess" She had a very accomplished look on her face when I said that. She walked inside and removed her shoes setting them aside before fully stepping inside. I showed her the guest room before walking into the kitchen to make tea.

Shiro's pov.

After Tomioka-san showed me the guest room he left to go make tea. I sat there for a while before realizing I hadn't showered in a week. I walked out of the room and made my way to the main room. When I found the kitchen I asked Tomioka-san where the bathroom was so I could take a shower. He gave the directions and told me where the spare clothes were. After I found some spare clothes that would fit me I found the bathroom. I turned on the water letting it warm up while I got undressed after a minute I stepped Into the water relaxing.

After finishing my shower and getting dressed I walked back to the kitchen to see Tomioka-san sitting at the table drinking tea when he noticed me he handed me a cup. We sat in awkward silence for a few minutes before I spoke up "About earlier... you're ok with the fact I'm dating a woman?" I asked anxiously "Yeah, I'm gay so I don't really have a problem with it" I looked at him a little confused "You are? I thought you were dating Miss Kocho '' he choked on his drink, taking a minute to collect himself "it's just a rumor" I sank in my chair embarrassed "oh" he finished his tea getting up to wash his cup. After a while, I finished mine doing the same.

I walked back to the guest room and laid down staring at the ceiling. After a few minutes, I fell asleep.
