"Yes that's all Mr.Barnes, anything else?" I asked my dental patient. "Yes that's all Ms.Graham, thank you." He said smiling. I smiled and he walked out of the room. I walked out of the room and went to the front to give him his excuse paper for work.
I'm Jalani Graham. I'm a dentist and sometimes a lash tech. I'm a graduated dental assistant and I'm 20 years old. I have NO kids, NO boyfriend, and 2 friends which were my siblings.
I went back to room and cleaned my area and went and washed my hands. I grabbed my purse and my phone and went to my car. I put my phone on the charger and played "Freestyle" By Jdot Breezy (my man, my man, my man).

I made it home and now I was waiting on my boy best friend to come over. I took a shower and put on some pajama shorts and a tank top. I put me and Tymeer a pizza in the oven because I swear, a bitch ain't feel like cooking right now.
I heard a knock on the door and I opened it, welcoming my Tymeer in. "Hey bestie." I said hugging him. "Wassup Jala." he said hugging me back.
"Did you go to the store and get what I asked you for?" "You know I did Jala." "Thank you."
He handed me the bags and I put them on the counter.
"How was work?" He asked me while sitting down on the couch.
"It was cool today, nothing to bad. I'm really starting to like it more and more by the day so hopefully it stays like that, I don't see myself quitting this time."
I quit my last job as a dentist because of the workers. It was more of a all caucasian place so I never felt welcomed being the only black girl there.
"Good, don't let nobody stop you from making money, you got to eat too just like everybody else, fuck what they talking 'bout."
"I'm saying tho so I don't even know why they was tripping so ha- oh shit the pizza!" I said as I heard the smoke detector start beeping loud.
"Bruh Jalani how you forgot about the pizza? If that shit burnt, you paying for whatever we going to eat." He said while fanning the smoke detector.
I took the pizza out the oven and good thing it wasn't burnt, it was done tho.
I started to cut the pizza into twelves and put 2 on two different plates. I put ranch on the side of my plate and took Tymeer his.
"Here crybaby, ain't nobody burn shit." I said while giggling a little bit because he looked irritated.
"I didn't feel like waiting in nobody line bruh, I just knew we was gone have to go to mcdonald's or sum." he said chuckling.
We watched Baddies and ate the pizza and talked. We always do this at least twice a week because I'm always working so when I do have free time, I'm either with him or my friends.
"You know A just got out right?" Tymeer asked.
"A" is my ex boyfriend from 7th grade to high school graduation. Me and Aydrian was always together, never apart. I thought we was going to be forever but we were two different people. I wanted to go to college and he wanted to be in the streets all the time. Me going to college and trying to be in a relationship 4 hours away wasn't going to work out so we decided to break up. It wasn't even no bad blood like I know if I wanted something, I could just call but I didn't.
"No, why was he even locked up for?" I asked pausing the tv.
"They said he had something to do with Erv getting killed but he wasn't even around at that time, I guess he said he did so them muhfuckas wouldn't be saying he snitched or sum."
"That's crazy, he went to jail after I left for college right?" "Hell yeah. I miss my boy tho, I gotta go check on bruh."
I met Aydrian through Ty, after me and A got together, Ty been there for us since then. He never left my side and I never left his.
"I do miss him sometimes but I heard he had another girlfriend so I just let it be. I have to check on him tho, see how he's doing and all that." "Girlfriend? Last time i talked to him, he said he was tryna get back right with you and that was 2 days ago. Nigga ain't got no girlfriend."
He's always been loyal to me, I never heard anything about him cheating or doing anything he know I wasn't going to like. That's why I could never just forget about him, he's literally my first everything.
"Mmm I don't know but I'm about to go to bed. You staying here or you going home?" "I'll stay here."
"Ok, you know where everything at if you need anything. Goodnight I love you." I said while walking towards my room.
