You log on to a matchmaking website that you have been using for three years. "Aria, this is ridiculous." Y/F/N complained. "What?" You asked oblivious to what she was talking about."This online dating stuff! Do you really think you'll find 'the one' on the Internet?" Y/F/N questioned. "Yes, Y/F/N I do. I think I might actually have someone special this time." You answered blushing. You truly think that you've found someone amazing.

FLASHBACK
You were babysitting your 3 year old niece. After a long afternoon you guided her to the guest room and laid her down for a nap. You walked back to the living room, where you logged onto the dating website you hadn't been on for a while, due to the failed dates and relationships you developed through this site. You decided to give it another try. You received a message and you then clicked on it. The message was sent from someone who you'd never conversed with. You instantly found interest in this mystery person. The message read: 'SplashBros30: Hello beautiful!'. You smiled and replied to him: "Hey! How are you doing?" Seconds later he replied, "Great, now that I'm talking to you! How about you?" "I'm doing great as well!" You giggled as his words danced its way into your heart. "What's your name?" He asked. "I'm Aria. What about you Mr.SplashBros30?" You typed. "I'm Steve lol." You were confused as to why he put 'lol' at the end but you shrugged it off. "So, based on the username, I'm guessing you're a Golden State Warriors fan?" You replied trying to spark a conversation. "BIG fan, I actually work closely with the franchise!" "Really? That's awesome! I'm a huge Warriors fan myself." You told him surprised that you have something in common with Steve. "Cool! Who's your favorite player?" "Honestly, I love the whole team. If I had to pick it would be Stephen Curry of course! He never seizes to amaze me." "Yeah, he has a ton of tricks up his sleeve." You smiled as you enjoyed talking to Steve.

FLASHBACK OVER
You bit your lip then smiled as you remembered your first conversation with Steve. "Aria how would you even know what you have with this 'Steve' guy is real?" Y/F/N asked. "I just know ok? I've never connected with someone like this before." You answered getting deep in your feelings. "Aria, I just don't want you to get hurt. You've never even met the guy and you've been messaging back and forth for about a year and a half now! What if he has a wife or something. Or worse a criminal record!" Y/F/N panicked. "Y/F/N relax! I got this." I said as you calmed her down. "Fine, just answer a few questions." Y/F/N smirked. "Okay, shoot." "How old is he?" "27." "What does he do for a living?" "Works with the Golden State Warriors." You cheesed. Y/F/N laughed and asked her last question, "Okay, hmm, what's his sign?" "Pisces, his birthday is March 14th!" You smiled brightly because you knew all the answers to her little 'pop quiz'. As if on cue, Steve messaged you. "Hey beautiful, I was wondering if I could treat you out to dinner at Acquerello. What do you say Aria?" You were overjoyed as you read the message. "Y/F/N, Steve just asked me out!" "What? He did?" You showed her the message you recently received by Steve, and Y/F/N squealed. "Yes of course! I would love to go on a date with you!" You smiled as you replied. "Great! Meet me at 8. I can't wait to see you!" You blushed as you messaged him, "Okay, see you there!" "Girl! We have to get you ready!" Y/F/N laughed. It was currently 6:45 pm and you and Y/F/N rushed upstairs to get yourself ready for this date with Steve.

You were wearing a blue dress that hugged your curves. Your jewelry complimented your blue dress nicely. To top this whole outfit off, you wore your gold heels. After you were dressed and ready to go, you and Y/F/N headed out. As Y/F/N pulled up to the restaurant, you couldn't help but get nervous. What if this night went terribly, and you wasted a year and a half of your life contacting this man? You only prayed that this night went well. "Good luck boo!" Y/F/N told you as she dropped you off at Acquerello. You thanked her as you walked into the fancy restaurant and the waitress guided you to your seat. You questioned why the restaurant was completely empty, but you didn't mind it. "Enjoy your night at the Acquerello!" "Thank you!" When Steve heard the waitress' voice he stood and gazed at you.

Steve's POV
I'm extremely nervous right now. I'm finally meeting the girl I've been talking to for the past year and a half. I hope she was worth the wait. I pushed these thoughts away by spraying some peppermint mouth freshener spray in my mouth. "Enjoy your night at the Acquerello!" Hearing the waitress' voice made me more nervous because that meant that Aria arrived. I stood up and gazed at the beautiful face in front of me. In fact, she was more than beautiful, words couldn't define what I felt for her. "Hi." I mentally cursed because she made me so nervous. I usually am chill with women but Aria, she made my charm disappear. It felt like I was a kid in middle school who had a crush on the prettiest girl in school."Hi." She smiled as she walked towards me. "How are you Aria?" I asked sparking a conversation. "I'm great! How about you?" She answered hugging me. I hugged he back, taking in her scent. I'm doing great as well. You look beautiful tonight." I smiled as I guided her to sit down. "Thank you! You look handsome also." Aria blushed and laughed as I pushed in her chair like a gentleman. "I can't believe after a year and a half, I finally get to meet the beautiful Aria!" I laughed amazed and still shocked. She laughed along with me and nodded. "Obviously my name isn't Steve." I laughed. "Yeah, I get why you said Steve though. If you were to just flat out say I'm Stephen Curry to everyone, you'd have tons of women flirting with you." Aria explained. "Well, I'm glad you understand!" I smiled. "Of course!" Aria giggled. "So, I'm your favorite player?" I smirked at her. "Steph! I feel so weird saying that now!" She said laughing. "Don't! I think it's actually cute." I smiled at her. Aria then blushed and smiled. "Okay then." She replied chuckling. "Amazing." "What is?" Aria questioned looking confused. "You are! You don't care that I'm Stephen Curry, the NBA superstar. You see me as Stephen Curry, the person." I told her surprised. "Well, someone has to!" She cheesed. I laughed at her silliness. "How's little Riley?" "She's great! I love that little girl!" I smiled thinking of my daughter. "I adore her. She's just a ray of sunshine. Riley is so cute! I love kids." Aria smiled looking into my eyes. "Thank you! If you don't mind me asking, do you have any children?" I asked out of curiosity. "No, I've been waiting for the right guy. I would love to start a family though." She answered twisting the ring she had. "Do you think you've found him yet?" I looked deeply in her eyes. "Yeah, I think I have." Aria bit her lip and smiled returning the look I gave her. I smiled at her as the waitress came with the check. Aria took out her Michael Kors wallet ready to pay for her meal. "What are you doing?" I questioned her. "Paying for my meal." She simply answered. "No, that's okay. I'll pay for your meal." "But I wan-." "I'm paying Aria." I confirmed. "Okay fine." She pouted. "Cheer up babe." I winked. I loved the way Aria blushed. "Its getting kinda late, I'll drive you home." I informed.

Your POV
'This night was amazing.' You thought. You were so glad you met Stephen. He's so down to Earth and sweet. He just offered to drive you home and you agreed. Currently, you two were in a comfortable silence. You directed him to your house. Soon, you guys arrived to the place where you you resided. He walked to your side of the car and opened the door for you. You thanked him as you two walked to the doorway of your house. Stephen held onto your hands as you smiled up at him. "Thank you so much Stephen. I had an amazing night with you." You told him truthfully. He kissed your hands and replied, "Aria, I had a great time with you tonight too." You looked downward to hide your blushing from Stephen. He lifted your chin with his fingers so you could look at him in the eyes. He came closer to you and grasped your waist. Stephen then lowered his lips to gently kiss your lips. As the kiss got heated, you started to pull away. "So, Aria will I see you again?" He bit his lip. "Definitely." You said winking. "Goodnight Aria." Stephen smiled. "Goodnight Stephen." You answered back kissing his cheek. You then unlocked the door of your cozy home and walked in. "Woah!" You sighed in happiness as you slid down the door of your home.
