So far we had spent five days traveling around in search of a village and still hadn't found any.
I decided that Finn and I should leave the cave to find a village. We had been walking all day and at night I'll build a little dirt tent to protect us from monsters.
We had been traveling for so long and I was beginning to get discouraged of ever finding one.
As Finn and I were sleeping in our little dirt tent I got up and went outside for some fresh air to clear my head.
I climbed on top of a little Hill and sat down on the soft grass. Looking upon the sky, I let out a sigh.
Memories of the raid washed over me like waves everything that happened, the buildings, the Iron golem, the villagers, Carson.
All gone because I was so weak, because I wasn't brave enough, heck I could barely protect myself. I just ran away like a coward.
I let them down, I let everyone down. I was a complete failure, a total loser.
All those thoughts swirled around my head as I brought my knees to my chest and buried my face in it. I felt angry tears flow down from my face as I began to sob.
Suddenly, I stopped crying, I felt this overwhelming determination, as if not all hope was lost. Like there was still a chance, although I doubted it.
I got up, cleaned my face and stared up to the sky as I clenched my fist.
"I have to get stronger, that is the only thing I can do," I said. "I will find a village and I will try to get stronger so I will not let it repeat itself. This is Minecraft and I can do whatever I please. I'm coming for you Pillagers, you hear me, I'm coming!" I yelled at the sky, even though I knew that will do nothing.
I stood on top of the hill for a few minutes before coming down, back to my little tent and went back to sleep.
Few Days Later
We walked through the Tiga, I was kicking a stone not really focusing on our journey. I kicked it causing it to shoot forward and land in the grassy floor. I advanced towards the stone and kicked it again this time as it rolled forward it stopped next to something.
"Huh?" I murmured, looking up to see an square, orange block.
It had some dark orange vertical lines on it and had a green stem on top. It was a Pumpkin, a whole bunch of them.
I wondered what pumpkins were doing out here alone when it hit me. In Minecraft, seeing pumpkins alone in the open was a sign that.......there was a village near by.
Words couldn't describe how happy I was. The thought of a village near by was exciting and amazing and relaxing. I felt a bundle of emotions that I couldn't contain.
"Heck ya!" I cheered, before running around like a child having sugar rush.
Finn was totally confused but was happy nonetheless. I had been moody ever since that night and Finn noticed, so seeing me light up made him really happy. He barked and wagged his tail joyfully.
"Finn guess what?" I asked seemingly knowing that he can't answer. "There is a village nearby. That means our journey will soon come to an end!" I explained.
Finn understood what I said and started to bark even louder at the news. I laughed at this, petting his head.
I had no idea where the village could be. It could be east, west or south. I knew for sure it couldn't be north since I came from there.
