"Nice to meet you too, I guess.." M/N greeted, "I see that you make good teamwork with my brother judging observing the game earlier." Sae mentioned as his gaze turned to his brother Rin, who was currently sat on a long chair across the gym. Sae's gaze went back to M/N as he questioned, "Do the both of you know each other?"
"I wouldn't say that, but we've crossed paths once." M/N answered. "I see," The male with reddish hair said calmly, "Welcome to the club then." He added.
Rin quietly observed them from afar watching the scenario unfold. He wasn't too happy about what he had witnessed. He was jealous, but for what? Rin had also won the competition yet his brother, Sae, didn't even bother to congratulate him. It seemed like his brother favored other people more than him.
Bachira, Isagi, and M/N left the gym after Sae and M/N talked for a bit. "Well.. That was awkward." Isagi said with a nervous smile, "That's just how M/N is, he still doesn't know how to start a conversation.." Bachira stated, "He's also shy around people he isn't close with.." Bachira added. M/N listened as both of his friends talked about the scenario that occured earlier, half of his face was buried in his sport jacket's collar.
M/N is exactly what his friends are saying, he's an awkward person who doesn't know how to start conversations with people he isn't close with. He's also not that much of an expert when he's talking with a girl, although he does have a little sister. He shows a serene expression most of the time, and he's also attractive and smart. He was popular among the girls in the school and some would even confess to him during lunch breaks or after school. He doesn't know how to deal with someone reciprocating their feelings for him and he sometimes asks his friends for help or advice, but he never really follows the advices his friends give in the end. When M/N was a child, he was neglected by his parents. He was a complete loner, not until he got a little sister. He adored and loved his sister a lot, he cared for her everytime and his sister cares for him also.
M/N shows a cocky and confident personality everytime he's with his friends because he's comfortable with them. He's not afraid to show what he truly feels whenever he's with the people he treasures a lot.
M/N is different from the outside, and in the inside.
M/N was now on his way to the school gate again to wait for his dad's driver to pick him up. His friends were already home by now and he was still on the school grounds since sometimes his dad's driver would arrive late due to certain issues occuring his driver had to settle. M/N waited patiently for the car to arrive when saw a black cat approaching him. M/N is someone who is very fond of animals, so he knelt down and caressed the cat's head softly. That's when he noticed this was the exact same cat Rin was petting the other day.
It seems to enjoy being petted. M/N softly smiled as he heard the cat purring.
M/N hadn't noticed someone was actually watching him from behind, It was Rin. He was also on his way home when he saw the dark haired male petting a certain cat at the school gate. Rin was mesmerized as he looked at observed M/N petting the black cat.
Rin has never seen someone smile that pretty before.
Eventually, a car arrived. This was the car M/N was waiting for, before M/N went inside the car he waved goodbye to the black cat who was sitting on the cement floor staring at him, the car took off and the cat was left alone.
Rin finally awoke from his daydreaming and shook his head. His heart was beating really fast. He has never felt this way before. There was no way he was feeling like that because he saw someone's smile, right?
He was supposed to be jealous of M/N because his brother favored M/N over him. But why was he feeling like that just now?
His head was bombarded with thoughts he didn't even expect to cross his mind.
He shook his head once again trying to escape his thoughts. He ended up going home that with a fixed expression on his face that day.
M/N arrived home shortly and his sister greeted him with a hug and a huge smile on her face. M/N smiled as he looked at his sister enjoying the stuffed toys he bought her.
The next day came by and as always, M/N's friends would always greet M/N with a smile near the school gate when he arrives.
"Yo! M/N, Over here!" Reo yelled while waving at M/N. "How did yesterday go for you?" Chigiri asked with a smile as M/N approached his group of friends. "Great." M/N replied, "That's all? Nothing exciting happened?" Reo questioned, "Nothing really." M/N stated with a nervous smile. "If so, let's go hurry to class then!" Bachira exclaimed sprinting towards the school building. M/N and his friends followed the hyperactive Bachira from behind.
M/N laughed at his friend's silly jokes while they hang out near the school fountain, where they'd always happen to be every lunch break. Girls nearby stared at M/N adoring his smile. "Looks like there's gonna be a confession happening today again." Reo teased elbowing M/N, "I'm jealous of you M/N, you're so popular." Bachira remarked showing a gloomy expression. "M/N, How do you deal with confessions actually?" Kunigami asked, "Yeah, I'd like to know too, you're awkward when it comes to people you don't know, it'd be funny knowing how you'd react to all these people confessing to you." Reo agreed.
How.. I deal with them? M/N pondered.
"You guys tell me advice about this everytime, but I don't really follow them.." M/N replied, "And also.. The way I deal with confessions is actually kind of complicated." He added. "Really? How come?" Chigiri asked, "Um.. To be honest, I don't really give them an answer. I'd always end up too nervous to speak so I run away in the end." M/N answered. "WHAT?! YOU RUN AWAY FROM THEM??" Bachira shouted, "Hey! Bachira keep your voice down.." Isagi interjected. "Ah, sorry.. I got carried away." Bachira apologized with a nervous laugh, "But seriously M/N? You run away??" He added. "Yeah.." M/N assured. "Damn, then the girls that confessed to you must've think you're a complete jerk by now." Reo taunted with a soft laugh, "Ah, I just don't know how to respond to them, that's why I end up running away.." M/N repeated. "You've gotta atleast give them an answer, they could have the wrong idea." Kunigami said, "Mhm." Chigiri nodded in agreement. "I know, but how??" M/N asked hoping for an answer, "Just respond with a simple; I'm sorry but I don't feel the same." Chigiri explained, "It's that easy!" The male with red hair added.
It may seem like a piece of cake for others, but for me, It's not that easy.. M/N thought.
"Oh, I almost forgot, M/N we have to go to the gym." Isagi said, "Oh yeah! We have a meeting regarding the club today." Bachira replied. "We'll see you guys later, bye bye!" Bachira waved goodbye to his friends and went along with M/N and Isagi to go to the gym.
