Mikoto ran towards her brother yelling his name. M/N heard his sister and looked in her direction; "Oh? Are you tired already?" M/N asked his little sister. "I wanna go home and play with Shiro!" Mikoto exclaimed. "I see. Let's go home then." M/N smiled and stood up from his seat. "Nii-san." Mikoto said, "Who's he?" Mikoto added as she pointed at Rin who was seated on the bench.
"Huh? Rin? Oh he's someone from school." M/N answered. "Does he play the same sport as you too?" Mikoto asked. "He does, we're actually in the same team too." M/N replied. "Cool! I wanna be like Nii-san too!" Mikoto exclaimed happily. "Um.. Mr.Cyan Eyes!" Mikoto called out to Rin. "You better take good care of Nii-san or else you guys will meet your end!" Mikoto threatened. "Mikoto, you shouldn't say that.." M/N said with a worried smile. "Ah. I'm sorry Rin." M/N apologized to the cerulean eyed male who was sat clueless of what was going on. "You don't have to apologize. It's okay." Rin responded. "Do you want an ice cream?" Rin added as he reached out his hand that was holding an ice cream to Mikoto. "Yes yes yes!" Mikoto beamed with a happy expression. Mikoto snatched the ice cream from Rin's grasp. "Mikoto, what do you say after?" M/N said. "Thank you! I hope to see you again Mr.Cyan Eyes!" Mikoto exclaimed with a happy smile as she waved goodbye to Rin. M/N also waved goodbye to Rin while he walked away from the playground along with his little sister.
Just as Rin was about to move from his seat, his phone rang. His brother Sae was calling him. Rin answered the call.
"Hey. What's taking you so long? I only asked you to return a keychain." Sae spoke from the cellphone. "Something happened on the way, I'm also going to stop by the bookstore for awhile." Rin replied. The call suddenly ended. Sae had hung up.
Rin's phone had a ringing sound coming from a notification. Sae had texted him a thank you for doing his small request. Rin rolled his eyes and put his phone back in his pockets.
Although Sae thanked Rin; it should be Rin thanking Sae instead. If Rin didn't do Sae's request, he wouldn't have been able to spend a bit of time with M/N.
Rin was on his way to the bookstore to buy the latest released horror novels he could read at home or whenever he had free time. When he arrived, he saw people whom were familiar to him. Perhaps, teammates from the soccer club?
Rin spotted Isagi and Bachira together searching for a book inside the bookstore. He definitely didn't want to deal with them nor talk with them either, but he had no choice since he'd have to go in the bookstore to buy the book he wanted.
He entered the store and walked to the shelves where the horror novels were positioned slowly so he couldn't be spotted by either Bachira or Isagi.
But Isagi had already spotted him before he even entered the store. Bachira and Isagi approached Rin. Rin tried to avoid them but Bachira and Isagi would go closer to him attempting to make a conversation.
"Hey! Rin! We just wanna ask you a question.." Bachira said. "Well, speed it up. I don't have all-day." Rin scoffed. "We would've been done by now if you weren't trying to avoid us!!" Bachira exclaimed. Isagi soothed him down and that was when they asked their question.
"So did Sae successfully give M/N the keychain??" Bachira asked. "Oh. It's just that." Rin said, "I was actually the one that gave it to M/N because that jerk was too fucking lazy." The younger male added. "That's great then! OK! We're off. Bye bye!" Bachira said, and both he and Isagi ran off from the bookstore.
Rin looked at the older males confused. He went to go back what he was supposed to be doing and picked which book he wanted to read during his free-time.
Meanwhile with Isagi and Bachira..
"See, I knew it! Rin is winning for sure!" Isagi happily exclaimed as Bachira stared at him in disbelief. "No no no. That's just IMPOSSIBLE!" Bachira exclaimed, "Sae will win this for sure!" He added. "Sae and M/N never had any close interactions unlike Rin and M/N. For me, Rin will surely win." Isagi defended. "NO!! THE OLDER BROTHER WILL ALWAYS TRIUMP IN THE END!" Bachira yelled. The people around them were now staring at Bachira. "Bachira be quiet! We're in public!" Isagi said. "Oops.. Sorry!" Bachira said with a nervous smile.
"Yo." Nagi suddenly appeared out of nowhere. "Nagi?? What are you doing here??" Isagi asked. "Me and Reo were walking around, then I saw the both of you so I went here." Nagi explained. "Helloo!" Reo waved at Bachira and Isagi. "Is Rei not with you guys?" Reo asked. "Nah. He's probably at home taking care of his sister." Isagi replied. "As always." Nagi said. "Should we go barge in his house and drag him outside for once?" Reo suggested. "We probably shouldn't.." Isagi said. "We should!" Bachira agreed. "I'll go with Reo's decision.." Nagi also agreed with Reo. "Majority Wins!" Reo exclaimed, "Now let's go!" He added.
The four of them rushed to M/N's place and barged in. M/N was currently watching television while playing with his dog, Shiro. While his sister was asleep in her room.
"M/N!" Reo exclaimed, "Reo we really shouldn't do-" "You're too nice Isagi." Bachira interrupted Isagi. "Eh? Reo? Nagi? Isagi? And Bachira too???" M/N was confused. "How the hell did you get in?" He questioned. "No questions! Let's go hang out." Reo said with a smile. "I can't now. I have to keep watch of Mikoto.." M/N indicated. "What about the people your Dad hired?" Reo asked. "They're here but-" "Then let them take care of Mikoto. Give yourself a break M/N." Reo cut off M/N.
"A break?" "I did want to hang out before.. Okay then."
