I look at jenny and feel confused. Why would Michael tell anyone about anything going on between us. I knew he liked to keep most of his personal life...well personal. I, honestly thought that Ralph was just making it up so i just laugh and jen and i head back to the stage.
Around 10:00pm
Ive been trying to avoid michael through the whole rehersal but its harder than it sounds.
Jen: "why dont you just say you don't feel well and we can go back to the hotel."
It sounded like a good idea but i knew Michael would try to come looking for me if i did.
Jay:" I cant. He'll just show up ti my room and im still deciding om how to deal with this.
Jen:" Just go for it. Hes the sweetest person and i know you've thought about."
Frank tells us its a wrap for rehersal and im wore out. Our rides are waiting by the gate. Out of the corner of my eye i see a red letherman and a black fedora. We both see each other. He gives me the smallest smile but i know it has a bigger meaning behind it. I try to give him the same satisfaction and i think he caught on. I think this may work.
