Chapter 28- scandal part 1

y/ns pov

We were walking as per usual until we went down a familiar path. Yes. I remember. It's the route we walked when we all first became a trio. Memories came flooding back to me and I felt myself spacing out. It feels so real.

3 and a half years ago*

It was the best hanging out with Jeff and Liu and I admit Jeff and Liu are pretty cute and I love being with both of them. I felt the summer breeze hit me and I decided to let my high ponytail down with my(h/l), (h/c) being blown in the wind. I still felt tired from the previous night when I snuck over Jeff and Lius house. I mean I was literally sleeping with Liu! I was so nervous. 

We decided to go to a swing and I was just inches away from Liu and I felt so nervous. It felt as if my heart was beating out of my chest.

Present*

I reminisced in these memories and o feel like I get eaten alive from them. I didn't realise how deep in I was because the next thing I knew I was been shaken by Liu. I gasped feeling dazed and confused but finally gained my attention back. There was one thing though. I felt as if I couldn't physically speak. I just gave Jeff and Liu a soulless stare and carried walking without saying a thing. I felt Jeffs gaze on me a lot but I dismissed it as being paranoid but in my peripheral I just saw him eye me. It almost felt as if he was looking at my waist as if I felt burning holes on my back. As we got home I noticed Jane was not here I guess she was at Jayden's house and I  just went to my room. I didn't know what to do. I need to do something tonight but it's been on my mind all week. I felt empty so I just cried into my pillow until I fell asleep the sweet feeling of release and finally surrendering to a deep slumber. 

Jeffs pov

I slowly walked into y/ns room as I saw her sleeping peacefully on her bed. I noticed her stained cheeks and caressed her cheek with my dry, calloused hand and just watched her sleep. I slowly saw her awake and decided to quickly hide somewhere. I was confused. She was getting dressed and looking suspicious. I don't get it? I saw her jump out her window and walking somewhere and decided to follow. It was late and best part of 11:30 at night so I was unsure why she was being so secretive. I followed behind her trying to not let her  catch me following her. And I heard some tapper rustle in her hand. It was a note. Most likely to meet up at some place. I saw her go into an alleyway and heard some lighter. I quickly peeked my head to see her just light a cigarette. I didn't care but I wasn't sure if Liu knew. I mean apparently he quit vaping but he was somehow against smoking. I felt a step of heavier footsteps come close which made me worry. "Hey you got the money right?" The man said. "Yeah I do now just give me it" y/n said agitated. "Okay okay fine here" "thanks". I f heard another lighter and a more significant smell. I decided to wait until y/n leaves so I can catch her.

About 5 minutes past and I feel y/ns unstable footsteps and fits of laughter coming closer. She noticed me and just started laughing in my face. She must've smoked a bunch of week so I decided to take her home. I tried grabbing her but she pulled away just laughing. I started to get slightly annoyed so I pulled her aside and put my hoodie on her and walked her home. She protested but I was stronger than her so I just tightened my grip on her. Once we got to the house I thought there would be no chance of getting in until she sobers up. I decided to take her to what was once my house and took her to my room which was one of the most untouched rooms beside from the odd splatter of dried up blood. I lit a torch to see y/ns dazed expression looking up at me. I couldn't hold it back anymore so I pulled her in for a kiss. I pulled away in guilt and she just stared in shock. 

About an hour passed when y/n sobered up and we left to her house. We said nothing another than goodnight. This was an eventful 2 hours.
