R E D ' S P. O. V.
Classes have started and I'm wondering why Bree's still not here. She never skipped class, and I know that she'd text me if she couldn't make it, including the reason why. I couldn't help but worry about her, I'm not used about her not being present. She's my closest friend in four out of four.
The uneasy feeling took over me and I did nothing but shift on my seat. Meghan and Skylar have been asking if I'm okay and I just said that my menstrual blood won't stop oozing out. In the corner of my eye, I saw the familiar black BMW park in the lot. I looked carefully, only to see Brianna and Mr. Styles' head. My eyes darted over to the teacher in front, afraid that she caught me not paying attention. I looked back out of the window, Mr. Styles kissing Brianna on the lips passionately. They look all cozy together and they don't even give a single fuck if they get caught making out. Brianna's in a really good and expensive dress today and I'm pretty sure it's from her so called sugar daddy. She looked blooming as shit the past few days, and I'm happy for her.
It's like we're both having the good, same days. She's been dating a middle aged man and so am I. I remember the things that happened earlier, Mr. Horan picking me up for school. I don't give a single flying fuck if my parents aren't home. All I ever wanted was him.
"Good morning, Mrs. Perkins. Sorry I'm late." Brianna said while holding her head high with a bright smile.
"Oh, good morning to you too, miss valedictorian. It's okay as long as it won't happen ever again. Please take a seat." Mrs. Perkins replied, referring to her rank in this batch.
She sat on a vacant seat in front of me and I poked her arm with a smirk. "Hey," she greeted "Did I miss something?" She added. "I should be the one asking you that. My eyes saw what happened in the caaar." I whispered with a tone. She giggled and shushed me before greeting the other two, girls commenting about how good looking she and her dress are. "Will tell you at lunch." Brianna winked.
Hours and hours passed and the bell rang, signal that the day is over and we're allowed to have our free time. I got out of the room with my squad and headed to the lockers. "You're blooming today, Brianna." Meghan said to her. Brianna mumbled a 'thanks' accompanied by giggles and finished settling her things in the locker. I closed mine afterwards and pulled her into a tight hug, squealing at the same time. "You need to give me details." I said and both Meghan and Skylar looked over to us.
Oops, my bad.
"What is it to talk about?" Asked Skylar. Brianna and I widened our eyes out of our sockets and I decided to cover my mess up. "About her weekend, that's all." I sassed the shit out of Skylar. They nodded their heads in agreement and the four of us went to the café.
We created a circle made of chairs and started to munch on our meals. Suddenly, Brianna spoke up. "Meghan, I think I'm kind of in." She wiggled her eyebrows and Meghan's jaw dropped in disbelief. She knew that Brianna's the Virgin Mary of the group. "Really? That's nice!" Meghan said, giving her a high five. We gave Brianna a warm welcome and continued to finish our meals. I'm still happy that I'm the only one she shared her secrets with. What loyal bitches are for.
After having our lunch, Meghan and Skylar left because they need to shag Professor Payne and Headmaster Malik. I still couldn't believe they could like...hire men that fast. In just one press of the send button.
"I like your hair today, Red." Brianna said, making my curls bounce. I've never curled my hair before but I liked it. As well as Mr. Horan. Heh. "Thanks. So... What the fuck just happened in the car earlier." I hissed as we both leaned on the front of someone's car. She blushed and giggled, letting out a dreamy sigh before answering my question. "We're dating." She replied as if she's just chilled, calm or some shit. "The fuck? Really? Did he buy you that dress?" I barked.
