"You should kiss her, daddy." Harper said and I froze at his words, even Brianna. "Harper, no. Mummy Brianna doesn't want that." Brianna told Harper sternly, shaking her head in disapproval. I felt a pang of pain hit my chest once her words rang in my ear. Nobody knows how much I wanted to kiss her with no hint of shame in front of my kids. I don't even know why I'm so affected with her words but it actually felt like daggers digging right on my beating heart. The way I looked at Sandrine, it wasn't like before. She's being boring and shit although I wasn't supposed to feel what I'm feeling at the moment.

"Mummy please," Harper whined, close to crying. "We won't tell mummy number one!" He pushed.

"No, Harper. Do you want me to get mad at you?" I retorted, my brows knitted slightly, trying to hide the pain i'm feeling, the struggle i'm experiencing. "Your dad's right, Harper. You have your other mummy. They're married." Brianna added and I cringed when I heard her say they're married. What the f.uck is wrong with me?

"Mummy?! Please. It's just a kiss? We just want to see it, and then we're good. Daddy pleeease. We promise we won't tell mummy number one." Hailey pleaded with her palms together. She's spoiled by me and I usually give in because of how cute she was. I closed my eyes shut, thinking if I should do it to make them stop of not. My eyes flipped open and a heavy sigh escaped my lips. "Kiss her! Kiss her! Kiss her!" Harper chanted. I groaned in annoyance and gave in. "Fine." I said through gritted teeth and looked over to Brianna, having a surprised look o her face.

"Do you really-" I cut her off by pressing my lips against hers forcefully, hers melting along with mine. Our lips moved in sync for twenty seconds or so and I was enjoying it and disappointment hit me when she pushed me away. I shouldn't be feeling this way and I shouldn't have tolerated my kids' attitude. I am so f.ucking stupid. "I'm sorry." I whispered to her with a slight frown on my face. Her frown softened once she heard my words, leaning over to kiss my cheek gently. Oh how I've missed that.

"Yie! Marry each other already!" Hailey giggled playfully and I shot her a payful disapproving glare. She shut her mouth cutely and behaved. "We promise we won't tell anyone. Especially mummy." Harper whispered.

Brianna shook her head in disbelief and drawn her attention back on the twins. "Are you two together?" Hailey blurted and I widened my eyes. I was just about to speak when Brianna did first.

"Kids, please. Let's stop talking about this for me? You guys are making me feel nothing but uncomfortable and that's not okay. Your daddy and I are nothing but good friends, he's like a dad to me as well. And forget about the kiss, I don't want to talk about that ever again. Understood?" She complained and taught the kids a lesson. It was so good of her, but her words hit me on the chest like knives. Although it was a white lie, it still did hurt. I'm feeling guilty for letting her feel uncomfortable.

"Yes, mummy Bweeyanah." The twins answered in unison, sad expression on their faces. "We're sorry mummy." Harper mumbled, crawling over to her to give her a hug, and Hailey did the same. I want to thank Brianna for telling the kids what I wanted to tell them. "And to you too, daddy. We're sorry." Harper and Hailey gave the warmest of their hug and I wrapped my arms around them protectively. I glanced over to Brianna's direction, holding each other's gaze. She smiled at me softly and I returned the gesture, mouthing "I love you."

Blush crept on her cheeks and she giggled tenderly. "I love you too." She mouthed back and I felt my heart flutter, shooing all the worries and pain away.

"Since you guys are being good today, i'm going to let you play your ps4. Is that good?" I stated and their faces lit up in surprise. "Really daddy?" The twins said in unison.
