12. A gift to Izuna

One could have thought Tobirama would start searching for Izuna immediately. But he didn't.

He became bed-bound as soon as Izuna was taken. He was just unable to get up, no matter how hard he tried. He spent a lot of the time sleeping, seeing his quality of sleep was so low since he re-lived Izuna's kidnapping over and over. Also, his muscles seemed unable to work.

But that wasn't the reason he didn't start to search for Izuna immediately. Neither was it that he was afraid he would fail. On the contrary, the reason was that he was too scared he would succeed, and find out Izuna was dead.

Well, he needn't have worried. He was in touch with all the right instances. The police, of course, who had already started their search. The embassies. The Red Cross. Amnesty. But nothing. Nothing at all

Every time he got a negative answer, he would lay down and scream-cry. Partly out of sadness.

But partly out of relief.

2 years earlier

It was the day we would hold our first concert. After one month of revising in Prague, it was the first Saturday of our one month of Saturday lives.

We practiced together for only two hours that morning so that we would have time to get some rest and get ready for the evening. I usually was a man of few words, but I said at least a little something.

"Good job, everyone. Don't forget to have contact with me throughout."

Which was a hilarious thing for me to say seeing I hadn't had contact with Izuna once or I would die. Not that he needed it, musical genius as he was.

Izuna stood packing slowly as he always did, waiting for the two of us to be the only ones left, which was also hilarious seeing everyone had noticed what was going on between us and politely hurried away. Some of them even nudged Izuna in his side and winked as they walked past. Despite being so famous, he was very down-to-Earth and likeable, and had already made close friends that I tried my uttermost not to be jealous of.

But this time, I didn't go to an instrument to wait for him. Instead, I went and stood right behind him, my hands behind my back.

"Ehum", I cleared my throat.

He jerked and turned round, adorably startled.

"Oh... Hi!" he said as if we had just happened to see one another on the street. God, he was so cute and innocent it was formidable to imagine he had sucked my cock while I was playing his multimillion violin. Had that even happened?

"Hi", I said to him. "I have something for you", I said and brought forth my hands that I had hidden behind my back. In it was a small silver parcel.

"Oh..." Izuna said, his brows gentle, his mouth displaying surprise.

"For tonight. I hope you'll like it."

He took the parcel from my hands. His hands looked soft and brought with them the sent off strawberry.

"Thank you so much", he whispered.

I put my finger underneath his chin and tilted his head up to me.

"Hehh..." I couldn't help but smirk. Then, I bent forwards and put my lips to his ear. We had never been so close to one another's faces before. "Open it tonight, when you're alone. I look forward to your reaction."

Then, without giving him any time to answer, I turned and left.

We all had to dress in black for the occasion. I put on my best trousers, as well as a black shirt that was slightly oversized and a blazer that was made out of a faux suede. I didn't tuck my shirt in to give off a more relaxed aura. My hair was always a mess and could go fuck itself, but I tried to make it fuck itself less by making a sleek side part and made a pretty good job of it, if I may say so myself.

I had just put on my array of silver rings and put on some cologne when my phone buzzed. I smirked. I knew exactly who it was, because I had put a note with my number in the parcel I had given to him.

Unknown number: OH MY GOD!!!

Unknown number: OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!!

Unknown number: Tobirama!!!

Unknown number: WHERE DID U FIND IT??? I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT WAS A THING???

Unknown number: this is Izuna btw

Me: Oh, good thing you told me, so I didn't mix you up with that OTHER man I gave a present to with my number in it ;)

Izuna: Oh, ha-ha! :*

Me: So happy you like it :* Does it fit?

Izuna: You wanna see? I can maybe send a picture?

Me: Yes to the first, no to the second

Izuna: ???

I took a deep breath. This was a risk.

Me: I want to see it on you, but not on a photo

Izuna: God, Tobirama...

Izuna: Can't wait to see u

Me: See you tonight xx

I smiled like an idiot all the way to the National Theatre.
