Chapter twenty two

Callie's pov-

Payton is now 34 weeks pregnant and she looks like she's going to explode but she has this adorable little waddle.

We are scheduled for a c-section in a couple days as it's amazing that Payton has got this far carrying triplets already.

We had the extension put in me added three more rooms so the room situation has changed, the adults all kept their rooms, Sofia and Zola still stay in the attic what is split into two rooms, Bailey has his own room, Ellis and the twins are sharing still but we are thinking of moving the twins into their own room until we decide to have another baby after the triplets are grown up enough.

That leaves us with 3 extra rooms two will be one for the triplets unless one of them is a boy and the twins are girls or a girl with twin boys.

That will leave us with a room for our final kid when we have it in the far future.

"Callie!" Payton called for me, making me run upstairs to see her laying on the bed with a smile.

"What's up baby?" I asked and sat down beside her when I saw that she was okay and not in pain or Labour.

"I want cuddle and the kids and my little cuddle buddies are at a sleepover party, the littles are a sleep and Bailey thinks he's to cool for cuddles." She pouts as she opens her arms to make grabby hands at me.

"So I was your last choice?" I asked with a smirk as I climbed into the bed and slid behind her.

"No, Meredith was my last choice." She laughed and leaned her head against my chest and moved my hand to her hair basically telling me to give her head scratches.

"Oh so your wife is your second last choice?gee thanks." I teased and kissed her head.

She winced a little telling me that her Braxton hicks that's she's been having since she was 26 weeks was playing up again.

"Mhm it goes kids then my wife." She joked and leaned into me more. "Baby B is bouncing on my bladder like Sofia jumps on the trampoline."

There was suddenly a wet spot on the bed and her shorts, so without even thinking about it we both get off the bed and I get to work on stripping the bed but after a few moments I realised that I hadn't smelt the overwhelming smell of urine yet.

"Babe?" I called to the bath to check if I was right and her water has just broke.

"Mhm." She called back.

"Can you smell the pee or is it just because I can't smell it. Has your water broke."

She walked into the room with a scared look on her face.

"I just thought I had a blocked nose or something, the triplets are making an appearance?"

"I think so, I'll take the bag to the car and call Addie, Bailey and carina that we are on the way you change your bottoms and tell Mer we are leaving and I'll be back to help you to the car." I told her as I made the plan on the spot.

Addison and her little family have been staying in Seattle since Payton was 30 weeks as Addison wanted to deliver the triplets and make sure everything was okay especially Payton.

"Okay you are scheduled for an or in an hour." Addison told us as she and Bailey walked into our hospital room.

I was laid beside her, rubbing her hand and kissing her forehead after every contraction.

"How are you feeling?" Miranda asked her as she sat beside the bed.

"There are three babies trying to come out of a very small hole right now and you have just told me that I can't have a c-section for another hour how do you think I'm fucking feeling right now." Payton groans as she has another contraction.

You could tell she was in a lot of pain because she never talked to anyone like that unless she was really pissed or in pain.

"I know Payton, I'll try get one as fast as I can but there is nothing I can do at this moment." Bailey said as she took Payton's free hand into hers.

"Payton I know you want to have a c-section but by the looks of it you could start pushing now and have atleast two babies by the time the hour for the or is over. It's very rare but everything looks good and safe for you to do it and if something goes wrong we can kick someone out the or and get you in." Addison said as she finished examining down there and checking on all three babies.

" I had to have 4 stitches with two babies just to get down there back to normal, I'm terrified of how many I'm will have to get with three babies I don't want a saggy vagina." She replied, causing us all to quietly laugh at her saggy vagina comment.

"You won't, Addison will stitch it all up if need and make sure it's all good but I'll go see if I can sort anything with the or before you decide." Bailey told Payton and they both left us alone to think.

"What are you thinking?" I asked as I pushed some hair out of her face.

"I need to do what's safer for me and our babies and that's waiting for an or, anything could happen if I attempted to do it naturally and they are all going to have to go to the nicu anyway so I want the safest way possible."

"If that's what you want to then that's what we will do."

"Baby A and twin one is a boy!" Addie said learning me cut the cord before she handed the baby to a nurse who put him in a incubator and after a few moments he started to cry and we both took a deep breath.

Suddenly there was a second lot of crying in the room telling us baby b was here.

"Baby B and twin two is a boy obviously." She said again, let me cut the cord and handed him off to any nurse who done the same. "Alright the last baby is coming now, how are you feeling so far?"

" relieved that I waited for the c-section." Payton laughed as she still winced in pain and looked up at me. "We have two boys so far."

"Mhm, you are doing amazing." I complemented are as I leaned down and kissed her head.

"Okay, baby C is going to have trouble with dating when she's older with two older brothers. It's a girl!" Addison laughed as she let me cut the cord again and she was placed in the incubator next to her brothers.

"I'll see you back at the room." I said as I kissed the top of Payton's head as I followed the triplets like we had talked about.

I am not going to leave their sides until I am told they are okay and Payton can join us in the nicu.
