The new maid is, I hate to say it, a dumb fucking bitch. How difficult is it to not spill an entire wine bottle on someone's lap? I mean, I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a little fun.
And she is very pretty. Not in a sexy way, though, but that could potentially be fixed if her uniform were a bit tighter. It's a shame I don't know her name.
I abandon the dinner early, leaving my untouched plate behind, and call the maid line from my suite.
"Bring my dinner to my room," I command.
Bella sighs on the other end. "Aye aye, dumbass," she says.
My nostrils flare with a twinge of anger. I really should've fired Bella by now for her attitude, but she's the best eye candy among the maids, and Luca enjoys her, and she's actually good at her job.
Bella comes into my room three minutes later and sets my remade dinner on the in-suite table.
"What's her name?" I ask. "The one who spilled the wine."
"Ella."
"No, seriously."
She glares at me. "I am being serious."
"Bella and Ella?" I laugh. "Jesus, that's funny."
"Whatever you say, Marco Polo."
"Whatever I say?" I smile. "That's a delicious offer coming from you."
Bella snorts. "Fuck off, Romeo. Hell will freeze over before I let you dick me down."
Honestly, I don't doubt that. We're in more of a get-on-each-other's-nerves kind of friendship. There was a time I thought I wanted Bella, but that desire has been dead for quite a while.
I've got a new interest now.
