Alien Mothership

"I'm gonna go check it out." Noodles said extending his neck and making sure the path was clear. After a moment he told the team "We're all good."

Everyone got off of the supply ship and looked around amazed.

"Am I just really small, or is this ship really big?" Guppy asked Grace while holding her hand. Grace stared around in wonder "It's enormous."

"Yeah." Wildcard agreed before saying "How are we gonna find our parents?"

"I was thinking about that. Mrs. Granada found us really easily back at Grandma's house, and I think I know how, your bracelet." Wheels said pointing to Missy's communicator bracelet.

"I haven't been able to contact my dad." Missy said confused.

"But maybe the transmitter in here that connects the two bracelets works like a tracking device." Wheels explained then he sighed "But I need a pair of pliers and a heat source."

"My teeth are strong because my dad's a shark." Guppy explained biting the air sharply for emphasis.

"Perfect." Wheels said.

Grace looked at Wildcard who said "And I've got a heat source." he focused for a second before saying "Heat vision!"

Wildcard accidentally turned himself into a toaster "Now he's a toaster." Missy said confused.

Wheels picked it up and shrugged "Close enough."

"Is it working?" Missy asked Wheels. "Well, it's leading us somewhere." Wheels told her as he lead them down endless corridors.

"Hey! That was really good back there." Grace told him.

"Turning into a toaster instead of making heat vision?" Wildcard asked sarcastically.

"It was heat-related. That's real progress." she said holding his hand comfortingly. He smiled and blushed "I guess it's progress."

She smiled back "You just watch. Pretty soon, you'll be teleporting like it's nobody's business. It's about belief."

"Um, guys... Does anybody else hear that?" Wheels said as they all stopped in a corridor.

They all paused and heard a distant rumbling sound "What is that?" A Capella asked.

"It's below us. I can feel it." Grace told them worriedly.

Suddenly a tentacle burst out from the ground and started reaching for them. The kids all screamed as it grabbed onto Grace. Wildcard grabbed onto her desperately "Grace!"

"Wildcard please don't let go!" she screamed trying to kick the tentacle off her leg. A Capella started to sing which made the tentacle writhe in pain and it let go of Grace.

She got up and ran into Wildcards arms. "Are you okay" he asked. Grace nodded but she had gone rather pale.

"Uh! Which way?" Noodle asked

"That way!" Wheels yelled pointing to a door.

They went through the door which lead to a balcony they looked and saw a massive pyramid "Look at that thing." Fast-forward said staring at its sheer size.

Grace looked down and noticed something that confused her "What the heck is the president doing here?"

"So they're inside this thing? All of them?" President Neil Anami asked.

"That's correct." the man next to him confirmed.

The president stared up at the pyramid "How long before the takeover begins?"

The man checked his watch and explained "According to the supreme commander, less than an hour."

"So soon?" he asked shocked.

"That's what she says, and she's never wrong." he told him.

"You don't have to remind me." he said with a shiver

the man looked at the president asking "Ever wonder why we bother with all this when she already knows how it's gonna turn out?"

"All part of the process, I suppose." The President told them.

"What is that thing?"

"You heard him. It's a rocket stuffed to the gills with aliens. In less than an hour, they'll send it down to Earth and start the takeover."

"Well, then we have to stop them. Let's go."

Suddenly the door opened and there stood Ms Granada with two guards "Do you children have any idea what you've done? Stealing one of our trains? Turning headquarters upside down? Flying an alien shuttle into outer space." she lectured. The kids all looked down in guilt.

"Hmm?" she smiled "Well done! Looks like we underestimated your abilities and your leadership qualities. You took a huge risk, but it was the right risk. Headquarters was attacked just minutes after you escaped. If you hadn't broken out, you would have all been captured. And now you've managed to lead us into the heart of this alien mother ship? Mm. So proud!"

"Wait, so we're not in trouble?" Wildcard asked her hopefully.

"Of course not." she told them "You are heroes."

"Yeah! Yes!" the kids celebrated. However Ojo showed Grace her iPad it was Ms Granada but with tentacles. Grace gulped nervously as she heard Wheels whisper to Missy "Missy! Her vital signs are all over the place."

The president came out from beside her "Save your breath, Granada. They know."

"Uh-oh!" the kids said worriedly.

Granada and the guards grew tentacles from there backs "Hmm...Well, then... round them up!" she ordered and they all were snatched by the tentacles.
