"daddy!" jeongin rushed over to his father the second he saw him. chan chuckled, bending down with his arms wide open to catch his ecstatic son.

his other son, hyunjin, walked behind him. still rather excited, but not as energetic as jeongin was.

"how are my favourite boys doing?"

"we got a new teacher! he's so pretty!"

chan hummed, glancing around. "is he now?" he heard a small chuckle and turned around to see a gorgeous man.

"i assure you, i'm not as much as they say. but you two don't want to forget your presents to your dad, do you?"

minho had 2 papers in his hand and the boys gasped, quickly giving him a hug and taking the papers.

"thank you, mr. lee! innie, you said you had them!"

chan patted hyunjin's head, shaking his own at the beginning argument. "thank you, mr. lee. i look forward to hearing about their day on the way home. we're they alright?"

"they were the best ones today. they got some candy."

jeongin pulled chan's attention away from minho and whined. "daddy! it was so fun today! but mr. lee is only with us on mondays, wednesdays and fridays! tell the school it's not fair!"

minho had a soft smile. "yes, i have another job, kids. i'm sorry. i'll spend as much time as i can with you, okay?"

hyunjin pouted, holding out his pinky. "promise?" the older nodded, bending down so he was eye to eye and locked their pinkies.

"now seal with a kiss!" minho chuckled, gently kissing hyunjin's pinky and patting his shoulder.

"get home, do your homework. be as good with your father as you were with me, yeah?"

jeongin shook his head and chan clicked his tongue. "but mr. lee! you're funny, dad makes bad jokes. he doesn't give us candy either!"

minho had an apologetic smile towards chan and pulled jeongin towards him. "innie, your father works his very best to keep you two happy. you cannot always be given what you want."

"i know, i'm sorry, mr. lee."

chan's mouth fell agape at how quick minho was able to get jeongin to apologize. he normally had to deal with a tantrum.

"thank you, darling. but you shouldn't apologize to me." minho turned him around and pushed him towards chan as he stood up.

"i'm sorry, dad. i love you."

chan rubbed jeongjn's back and nodded. "i know, baby. i love you too. shall we get you two home and fed?"

——

chan heard about how fun their school day was the rest of the day. "daddy? can we hang out with mr. lee sometimes?"

"what do you mean, innie?" he laid out the boy's pyjamas on the chair, sitting next to him on the bed.

the boys shared a room, as per request, and hyunjin joined them on the bed as well. "like, he watched us when you're at work and busy. i don't like the nanny. she's a meanie."

"she yells at innie for eating too much, but you know how hungry he is sometimes after a long day."

chan sighed, feeling the headache already begin. "i can ask him, yeah? no more mean nanny."

jeongin's eyes lit up at the hope of minho babysitting them and nodded quickly. "please, please, please! i love mr. lee!"

"okay, i'll talk to him tomorrow. can you two just wait with your friends while i talk to him?"

the boys nodded quickly, already smiling widely at each other.
