You lay in bed with your best friend of 8 years, Dylan. Like many other nights, the two of you were lying down together. Depending on how you felt that day, you'd watch tv, eat, listen to music, or just talk. Sometimes you did all of the above.
But tonight, you were listening to music and talking. And not about anything in particular.
You talked about your day, as well as his own. The two of you also discussed Dylan's music. The current state of his career and where he sees it going in the near and far future.
But now Dylan wanted to talk about the two of you -- in the best way he knew how.
Dylan tends to be slightly territorial about you.
He doesn't like anyone getting too close to you, or touching you. Hell, he barely likes when people talk to you. This even goes for your mutual friends.
Even though none of them want to be with you. And it's not that they don't find you attractive. It's just that they all see you as Dee's lady. Everybody sees you as Dee's lady — even yourself, sometimes.
You and Dylan both do relationship things for and to each other. Everything except having sex. You love Dylan. And he loves you — he makes it known every day. But, you don't want to jump into sex. You feared it would alter your chemistry with him. Or that it'll negatively impact your relationship with him.
