Y/N and the others were holed up back to their dorm. Thankfully, Y/N casted a spell to their room to make it soundproof and protected against any prying eyes from the public.

Ironwood is walking back and forth as the rest of Team RWBY sat on the lower bunk beds, while Donna and Y/N are sitting on the chairs next to them.

Ironwood: "I'm sorry." Ironwood started. "But you have left us with no choice."

Yang: "HE ATTACKED ME!" Yang angrily ranted, trying to prove her innocence.

Ironwood: "Video footage and millions of viewers says otherwise." Ironwood countered with his own.

Weiss: "But Yang would never do that!" Weiss exclaimed.

Ruby: "Y-Yeah!"

Donna and Y/N were both uninterested with the argument because they knew the truth behind the footage. They waited for them to calm down and for General Ironwood to finish.

Ironwood: "You all seem like good students. And the staff here at Beacon are fully aware that you would never lash out the way you did. Under normal circumstances..." Ironwood stated as he turns around to face  the group of teens. "But I believe, and hope this to be-- nothing more than the result of stress and adrenaline. When you're out on the battlefield, your judgement can become clouded in an instant."

Ruby slowly nods as she listens, while the rest (except the siblings) hung their heads low.

Ironwood: "Somehow, you see things that simply aren't there. Even after the fight has passed."

Y/N: "Are you done, General Ironwood?" Y/N finally spoke.

The rest except her sister turned their heads to him, waiting for Y/N to continue.

Ironwood: "Do you have something to say, Y/N?" 

Y/N: "In fact..." Y/N stands up and ruffles his own hair. "Yang... was right." He declared.

This perked the attention of Team RWBY and annoyed the General for a bit, but he quickly composed himself, letting the young sorcerer to continue.

Ironwood: "Hmm... Go on." He gestured.

Y/N: "What you've saw on the video footage is an illusion, made to fool the cameras that are recording the fight." Y/N explained. "Donna and I saw the illusion before Yang 'strikes' Mercury on his leg, but in reality it was Mercury who attempted to strike Yang with a kick straight to her face, thus starting the illusion that she punched Mercury undefended on the ground."
