Night comes fast as the group set up camp outside Oniyuri. Sitting on the wooden logs are Team JNPR, Tor Blair, and Qrow Branwen. Muerte's whereabouts are still unknown after the fight but they believe that he'll come back sooner or later. Tor and Qrow both drank on their respective flasks as the Huntsman winces in pain because of his bandaged wound.

"Really, no questions? Like, nothing?" How sarcastically asked the kids.

Jaune leans forward, displaying a grave expression. "Of course we have questions. This is just... a lot to take in."

With a discontented sound, Qrow took another sip from his flask. "Sure, of course."

After a couple of seconds, Ruby's words broke the silence that had settled in the camp.

"So these... Maidens. They're powerful fighters that don't need Dust to use magic." Her grip onto her skirt tightened. "And Y/N had a connection with these... Maidens?"

"Not HIM exactly." Qrow corrected. "But what's inside of his soul, the other guy who is taking shelter in him."

"But, how?" Ren asks, still confused after Qrow tells them the story of the Four Maidens and the Gentleman. "Y/N uses magic ever since he entered Remnant, how exactly did Headmaster Ozpin predict his arrival?"

"And there are four of them?" Nora asks, and her questions go back to the topic of the Four Maidens.

Qrow faintly smiled. "That's correct. All of it." He stared at the fire and then at Tor. "Tor revealed to all of you that he's one of the King's Guards Y/N summoned seconds before he disappeared. Ozpin knows the dormant magic that even Y/N doesn't know at first. When the Fall happened, the magic triggered something that it awakened the Lost King of Remnant, which resides inside of him." He then returns back to the main topic. "So yes, his King's magic is similar to Maiden's magic."

"These Maidens, if they die, whenever one of them dies, the power transfers to someone that they care about?"

"A female." Qrow corrects Ren's assumption. "Whoever was in their thoughts last. An important distinction."

"Pyrrha..." Jaune muttered in realization. "Even without the machine, the power of the Fall Maiden-"

"-been acquired by Nikos? Hmph." Tor interrupted him. "Yet it still fails to work when Cinder gets the full amount."

Qrow nodded, affirming Tor's words. "Cinder already had half the powers of the Fall Maiden before the fight."

"This... Cinder." Jaune's expression became cold. "The night the tower fell. Did Y/N know that Pyrrha's going to receive half of the Maiden?"
