Xavier craned his neck to look out of the kitchen window.

He hadn't quite finished rinsing off the breakfast plates as he watched his darling slowly stretch herself on the rubber mat she had laid on the patio.

Wednesday had given her midwife's latest suggestion a try.

As she struggled through her final trimester, carrying two lives that often made it difficult for her to breathe, she had found some relief in prenatal yoga.

Xavier's eyes softened as he watched her slowly move through the poses with a surprising amount of grace.

From her heavy belly to her full breasts, his mouth watered while he admired her new body.

As soon as he placed the dishes into the dishwasher, he hurried outside, placed another mat beside hers, clad in his t-shirt and sweatpants, his long hair secured in a bun.

Wednesday glanced over as he silently joined her practice.

Although she said nothing, he saw the scowl on her face relax while they silently practiced the partner poses together, his hands gentle and her movements careful.

The morning's temperature remained pleasantly cool and as if to make sure the couple stayed comfortable, a soothing breeze blew past every few moments.

They ended sometime later with Wednesday leaning against Xavier, one foot pressed against the inside of her thigh.

Like a dedicated tree, he stood behind her with both feet planted and his palms supportively on the underside of her belly, as if he would give her a temporary respite by assuming the weight of their unborn little ones.

Wednesday sighed into the stretch as she raised her arms and lengthened her spine.

In that single moment, she allowed Xavier to maintain balance for their entire family as she moved her sore body.

A soft groan of relief left Wednesday's lips before she rolled her head to glance up at him, her dark eyes half-lidded.

Xavier gladly accepted his wife's silent invitation as he bent down to give her a loving kiss.

Their affection melted into smoldering passion as Wednesday ended her stretch and placed both feet on the mat while Xavier's hands lingered on her belly.

While his heart lept that Wednesday enjoyed their kiss, Xavier could hardly contain his excitement knowing how soon he'd meet his sons or daughters.

In as little as four weeks, the Addams-Thorpes could become parents.

Wednesday struggled to maintain her pace at writing her novels between preparations for the birth and the progression of her condition.

Together with Xavier, she decorated the nursery, attended birthing classes, and her countless doctor's appointments.

After Xavier had introduced her to a new physician who was less rude and open to discussions, Wednesday couldn't help but harbor a special gratitude in her heart towards her husband.

Whenever she felt well enough, she rewarded Xavier by welcoming him into her body.

As the twins' arrival became imminent, however, those intimate times grew more sporadic with each passing day.

Wednesday sat on the sofa late one afternoon with her back arched and a frown on her plump lips.

Xavier mirrored her expression as he crouched in front of her, his hands laid next to hers on her swollen belly.
